The history of Mother's Day.
Feast Mother's Day has gone back to ancient times, when celebrated the day of Rhea - the mother of the Gods. In Brazil. Mother's Day was officially approved in 1932 on the second Sunday of May. In Canada. Mother's Day is celebrated in this country just like in America - the second Sunday in May. Officially set this date in 1914. All children revere their mothers on this day, not allowing them to do household chores. Everybody does it for her. They give their parents gifts, flowers. Instead of a home dinner, make her dinner in a restaurant.
In China. Mother's Day in China is celebrated every second Sunday in May. In this country they honor their mothers with gifts and flowers. Cover them a chic table, invite guests.
In Japan. Since 1930, Mother's Day in Japan is celebrated on March 6, and since 1947 it has been postponed to the second Sunday in May. Vendors are actively selling "goods for moms", more often on this day, organize festivities on the streets. Children go to their mothers and give them presents with a carnation embedded in them.
In Germany. Mother's Day in Germany is celebrated as in all countries - on the second Sunday in May. For the first time Mother's Day in Germany was celebrated in 1923, and only after 10 years, it became a national holiday. Germans give their mothers attention, flowers and gifts.
