Useful cakes These oatmeal "cakes" have become for me a discovery. One morning, before I finished eating my porridge, I left it in the fridge. And in the evening, having returned home, I discovered a delicious thing, which I decided to cook again and leave "stand up", only consciously! This dish will please people who follow their food and serve as a breakfast or a snack between the main meals. Fiber, contained in oat flakes, will improve the condition of the skin and hair, will have a beneficial effect on the nervous system. Therefore, it is useful for every person to use such a valuable product as oatmeal. In addition, in this way it is easy to feed a child with oatmeal, serving it as a cake, decorating with various nuts, berries or dried fruits. Be full and healthy!
Ingredients:- Oatmeal 200 g
- Water 500 ml
- Honey 1 tbsp. l.
- Walnut 50 g
- Step 1 To prepare a dietary dessert, take oat flakes, water, honey and nuts.
- Step 2 Pour the oatmeal with water and put on a stove.
- Step 3 Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a minimum and cook under the lid until it is ready (before absorbing the liquid). This will take about 10 minutes. Add honey to taste (I use 1 tablespoon with a slide) and mix well.
- Step 4 Put the finished porridge in a mold and tightly pound it (I have a silicone mold with a diameter of 17 cm and a height of 3.5 cm).
- Step 5 Decorate with nuts and clean in the cold for at least 2 hours, so that the mass is well seized.
- Step 6 Get the frozen cake out of the mold and cut it into cubes or triangles, like a cake.
