How to knit a rug from crochet crochet - step by step instruction

Preparation of material for crochet crochet:

1. For work were used: two children's t-shirts (for age 2 years), sports pants (40 sizes).
   
   

   Note: for knitting this rug you can not accurately calculate the amount of "yarn", since the yarns are made from knitted fabrics of varying density and elasticity.

2. We cut the material into ribbons of different widths. In our case, tight jersey - 0,5 cm, elastic - 0,8 - 1 cm.

From how you prepare the thread will depend on the quality of the future rug. If the thread is thick - the rug turns dense, the thin - laced.

Tip: To make the thread continuous, cut the material in a spiral, as shown in the photo. When winding into a tangle, try to twist the thread as much as possible - this will make it as homogeneous as possible.

Knitting the rug:

If you know the basics of crochet, then you can easily cope with the work, and you do not even need a scheme. We dial a chain of 38 air loops and knit 56 cm horizontal columns with a single crochet. In the process of working we change the color scale.

Tip: when changing the color, the ends of the thread are better to sew manually with a needle and thread - then on the finished product there will be no bulges or bulges.

Decoration:

1. From denim we cut out four strips - equal in length to the sides of the bound rug - and a width of about 5 to 6 cm. We make a 0.5 cm bend by the iron (see photo) and we sew our crocheted rug around the perimeter.
