Potato Granny refers to traditional Belarusian dishes. Usually it is prepared in pots and served in portions. In the dish is usually added fried fat, this makes it very satisfying. I brought fresh notes to the traditional recipe and prepared a paprika with the addition of chicken breast. A new shade of habitual taste has turned out. Moreover, I baked the potato head in the muffin molds. Thanks to this, she prepared much faster, in just 30 minutes. If you cook it in pots, as expected, the cooking time will be at least 1,5-2 hours.
Ingredients:- Potatoes 4 pcs.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 50 ml
- Salt 5 pinch
- Garlic 4 denticles
- Chicken breast 1 pc.
- Fresh dill 30 g
- Sour cream 150 g
- Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
- Onion 2 pcs.
- Groats manna 1 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To prepare a potato head, you need potatoes, pre-boiled chicken breast, onions, flour. For the sauce, cook sour cream, fresh dill, salt and garlic.
- Step 2 Peel potatoes and onions. On potatoes and one bulb, peel potatoes or a food processor. Onions are needed to ensure that the potatoes do not darken.
- Step 3 Cut the second onion into small cubes.
- Step 4 Boil, chicken breast and cut into cubes.
- Step 5 On sunflower oil fry onion until golden brown. Add chicken to it, mix it well. Salt and pepper.
- Step 6 In a separate vessel, combine the grated potatoes, chicken breast with onions, 1 tbsp. l. flour and 2 tbsp. l. sour cream. Sour cream is needed to make the potato head more airy.
- Step 7 Lubricate the baking sheet with vegetable oil and sprinkle well with semolina. Thanks to the croup, a delicious crust is formed, and the pastern itself will keep its shape.
- Step 8 Pour the finished dough into shapes. Send the oven to a 200 ° C preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Step 9 In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Connect sour cream, garlic and dill in the blender bowl. Grind everything. Add salt to taste.
- Step 10 The ready grandmother will lighten a little on top, but not much. But on the sides it is covered with a good, ruddy crust. Serve it hot with sauce or regular sour cream. Potato dumpling is well combined with vegetable salads and sauerkraut.
