What you need to do to make it easy to give birth

Questions to the doctor of the hospital or what you need to know before giving birth?
Often and with a smile I remember my pregnancy, especially its end. It was a wonderful time, full of anticipation and anxiety associated with the birth of our daughter.
Of course, most of the experiences were directly related to the birth and stay in the hospital.

I wanted to know absolutely everything in order to be fully prepared at the time of delivery. But pregnancy made me very absent-minded and forgetful. And every time I came to the hospital to the doctor, with whom I agreed that he would take birth from me, I forgot everything I wanted to ask.
And then I came up with an exit. Just wrote a list, where she listed all her questions. In the next meeting with the doctor, I read this list, and the doctor, not in the least surprised, patiently answered all the questions.

The list of questions was something like this:
1. What tests should be in the exchange card and what statements should be written to be allowed to give birth in this maternity hospital?
2. How long before the birth should I sign an exchange card?
3. Does the maternity hospital work with childbirth? If so, what should be done to allow her husband to attend childbirth?
4. What is necessary to buy for childbirth (obstetric set, children's set or buy everything you need from the list yourself?).
5. What of the things (bed linen, clothes and other things) will be needed for childbirth for yourself, your husband and your child?
6. What is the temperature of the air in the hospital? It is necessary to know, in order to somehow calculate what you will put on the child and dress yourself. I ignored this question, counting it stupid, and as a result I took a warm robe for myself, that being so. That the air temperature in the ward was +28! As a result, I put on my T-shirt - my robe was not useful.
7. What to dress for childbirth and what to wear to your husband?
8. If there are gaps, will they be sewn under anesthesia or not? If so, under what anesthesia?
9. When and what vaccinations will be given to the child?
10. Does the maternity home have a joint stay in the ward of the mother and child? Is it possible that my husband was with me in the ward?
11. Will the child be applied to the breast in the delivery room immediately after birth?
12. What prevention of ruptures can I have before delivery?
13. When the fights begin, what gap between them should be to be the basis of the call to the doctor?
14. Up to what week of pregnancy does the doctor not insist on stimulating labor activity?
15. Is it possible to eat and drink during fights at home and in the delivery room, and after the birth of a child? If so, what exactly?
16. What hours are allowed to visit relatives? Do they let them into the ward?
17. If the birth begins at night or not in the place of a doctor, will the doctor still come?
18. What is equipped with the maternity ward and the prenatal ward? Whether it is possible to walk, stand, sit on fights and attempts. experience them the way you feel comfortable?
19. Can there be such a situation, because of which the doctor will not come for childbirth? What order of action will be in this case, and what kind of doctor can replace it? (It is advisable to get acquainted with this doctor in advance).
20. Do I need to agree in advance on the Chamber or can I agree on the spot?
21. In what cases do stimulation of labor activity take place at birth?
22. In what cases are the bubbles pierced?
23. Is epidural anesthesia or any other?
24. On what day after birth does the discharge take place and how does it pass?

Of course, it's possible that you do not even remember some of these issues at birth, but you can be calm that "keep everything under control." The most important thing is a positive attitude and confidence that everything will be fine! I wish you easy delivery and healthy babies!
