This is not surprising, because rice is one of the most common cereals, possessing many useful properties and neutral taste, which is combined with a huge number of different products. Therefore, it is so often used as a side dish along with potatoes, pasta, cereals and vegetables. But simply boiled rice - it's not particularly tasty, and it does not look too impressive, so it does not stimulate the appetite. There are many ways to diversify the rice garnish by adding spices, chopped vegetables, and we suggest you cook green rice. This is not a special kind of green rice, but a very delicious side dish for meat or fish, cooked with spinach. This Persian relative of our quinoa will give your garnish not only an unusual look, taste and color, but also make you look at a completely new dish, surprise the guests, please the fans of a healthy lifestyle and lovers of diets.
Ingredients:- Long grain rice 1 tbsp.
- Broth of vegetable 600 ml
- Spinach fresh 150 g
- Coriander dry 1 tsp.
- Olive oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Garlic 1 clove
- Pepper black ground 2 pinch
- Salt 2 pinch
- Step 1 To prepare this dish you need rice, spinach, clove of garlic, vegetable broth and olive oil.
- Step 2 In a deep frying pan heat 2 tbsp. Vegetable oil and fry the dry rice for 5 minutes.
- Step 3 Then pour 2.5 cups of hot broth, add coriander, black pepper and salt. Do not interfere with closing the lid and cook until the broth is completely evaporated.
- Meanwhile, spinach is well washed, drained and cut.
- Step 5 Preheat 1 tbsp in another frying pan. olive oil and put the spinach - stew for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 6 Then squeeze garlic through the press and mix.
- Step 7 Put the spinach in the ready rice, mix it well.
- Step 8 Stew all together for 2-3 minutes without a lid, then remove from heat - serve hot.
