Spicy salad with bird Ptitim is the original culinary invention of Israel during rice deficiency in the country. The first prime minister of Israel did not expect that Ptitim, created by his order, would become a popular product in the world in a few dozen years. Ptitim is called Israeli couscous, not because of its origin, but because of its similarity with the grain of couscous, because it was created to look like couscous. Nevertheless, it seems difficult to confuse the new couscous with the traditional Maghreb. Just like couscous, birdlike is made from solid wheat varieties, only it is made by pasta technology. Today, this product is considered a fashionable delicacy among gourmets in the US and Europe. In the kitchen, Israeli couscous is versatile enough: it is easy and easy to prepare a garnish, or you can add it to soup or salad. It will decorate any hot or cold dish and give it a special original taste. It remains friable and does not stick together, keeping the shape after cooking, even if it is cooked a little more than 15-20 minutes.
