- mozzarella cheese - 500 Grams
- bread for sandwiches - 8 Slices
- Big Eggs - 2 Pieces
- thick cream - 1/2 cup
- fresh thyme leaves - 1 teaspoon
- salt - 1 teaspoon
- olive oil - 1/4 cup
- Grated nutmeg - 1 Part
Lay the pieces of mozzarella cheese on 4 slices of bread. Top with the remaining slices of bread. Trim the peel to make the perfect square. In a wide shallow bowl, whip the eggs. Add cream, thyme leaves, salt and nutmeg. Good shake. In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Dip each sandwich into an egg mixture and fry until golden brown on one side for about 2 minutes. Turn over and fry until brown on the other side. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the 2 remaining sandwiches. Cut the sandwiches into 2 parts and serve.
