Preparing shaurma at home For more than a year Shaurma has been popular as a quick snack. Shaurma is a Middle Eastern dish made of pita or lavash with chopped meat and vegetables. Together with the filling add sauce, which is also the most diverse. A separate story of this dish is a marinade for meat. He plays an important role here and not every cook will agree to share his recipe. By the composition of marinade, you can even determine its region of origin. Today I'm offering you a simple and delicious way of making shaurma at home. It does not require large expenditures in products and time. The filling can also be adjusted at your own discretion.
Ingredients:- Chicken fillet 300 g
- Pete 2 pcs.
- Cucumber 20 g
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Yogurt 3 tbsp. l.
- Tomatoes 20 g
- White cabbage 100 g
- Pepper sweet 1 pc.
- Fresh dill 0.25 bunch
- Parsley fresh 0.25 bunch
- Lemon 0.5 pcs.
- Paprika sweet ground 0.5 tsp.
- Cinnamon ground 0.5 tsp.
- Pepper black ground 0.5 tsp.
- Salt extra 1 pinch
- Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To prepare shaurma, take chicken, pita or lavash, yoghurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon, greens, vegetables and spices.
- Step 2 All ingredients for marinade - spices, olive oil and juice of half a lemon combine in a deep plate and mix.
- Step 3 Add to the sauce pieces of fillets and leave in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, you can all night.
- Step 4 Grill the fillet on medium heat until it is ready.
- Step 5 All the products for the filling are cut with straws - cucumber, sweet pepper, cabbage and tomato, finely chop the greens. Even for the filling, I suggest using garlic sauce, it can be prepared by mixing yogurt and garlic to taste.
