Pour the milk into a measuring bowl. Add water, so that the total volume is 4 cups. Melt the coconut oil over medium heat. Add 2 cups of rice and cook stirring for 2 minutes. Add coconut milk ... salt ... And maple syrup (or brown sugar). You can also add coconut seasonings. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat. Then cover it with a lid (do not cover it completely). Cook for about 15-20 minutes, rice should absorb all the water and coconut milk (or almost all). Then, turn off the heat and cover the pan with a lid and let the rice rest for 5-10 minutes. When everything is ready, stir the rice with a fork. If you use coconut flakes, then lightly fry them. The dish is ready. Sprinkle some coconut flakes from above and serve. Bon Appetit.
