The causes of the haljazion

Halyazion on the eye: how to heal quickly

There are several reasons for the appearance of the haljazion. The clogging of the sebaceous glands of the century is one of the most common causes. Occlusion is often due to hypothermia or due to weakened immunity and frequent stress. The secret secreted by the gland, because of the blockage, gradually accumulates in the excretory channel, as a result of which the halachion appears. Improper observance of personal hygiene is also one of the reasons for occluding sebaceous glands. You should adhere to evening washing, gently approach the use of contact lenses, do not wipe your eyes with dirty hands. The constant appearance of barley or the wrong treatment of it can also cause chalazion. In children, the habit of rubbing the eyes with unwashed hands is often the cause of the appearance of a halazion.

Treatment of haljazion

How to treat halyazion? There are several methods of treating this disease. But the choice of method is based on the stage of the disease, as well as its course. If the seal has recently appeared and is small, the treatment is carried out with the help of conservative therapy, which includes the use of physiotherapy procedures, disinfectants, as well as drops and ointments. If the seal is more obsolete, then more serious methods will be useful for its resorption. In such cases, injections are used in the nodule itself - this, so-called, corticosteroid therapy. If all previous methods did not help or the disease is heavier, then surgical treatment is required. Now instead of a scalpel, you can choose laser surgery. This procedure will be less traumatic and more useful in relapse. In addition, eliminating halalyon by a laser will solve this problem forever.
