1. In a small bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and salt to a creamy consistency with a mixer. Add sugar and whisk at medium speed. Add eggs, one at a time, whisking for 1 minute after each addition. Add the vanilla extract. Reduce the speed of the mixer to low and add flour. Add chopped chocolate (or chocolate chips) and beat with a mixer at low speed until the chocolate is evenly distributed over the flour. 2. Cover the dough with a plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for the night or up to 3 days. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees with the counter in the center. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Put the dough on a baking tray, using on one cookie approximately 1 tablespoon dough. Cookies should be located at a distance of 2, -5-5 cm from each other. 3. Bake the biscuits for 7-10 minutes, until golden in color at the edges. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then completely cool down on the rack.
