Vegetables and fruits that promote growth

For those people who are dissatisfied with their short stature and would like to add a couple of centimeters in height, numerous training methods have been developed that allow for a little "pull-up". But do you know about vegetables and fruits that promote growth?

Growth of the body is determined by several factors: the genetic characteristics of the body, inherited from parents; level of motor activity; quality of nutrition. We can not influence the set of genes, of course, but we can not lead an active way of life and organize proper nutrition. But, if it is more or less clear with active forms of rest (it is enough to attend training sessions in some sports section or a shaping club at least once or twice a week), some questions arise with the organization of food.

It turns out that in addition to the necessary amount of protein (about 100 - 120 grams per day for an adult), many vitamins greatly influence the growth of the body. It's no secret that a huge amount of vitamins that promote growth is contained in plant foods - vegetables and fruits.

The leader in influencing growth processes is vitamin A (or its precursor, carotene, contained in plant foods). It is no coincidence that the second name of this substance is growth vitamin. Participating in many important biochemical reactions taking place in our body, this vitamin significantly contributes to the growth processes. Among the vegetables and fruits, in which vitamin A is in large quantities, you can name first of all carrots, red peppers, tomatoes. It is carotene, which when supplied with food in our body turns into vitamin A, and causes a reddish shade of these vegetables. Fruits contain a much smaller amount of vitamin A.

To activate the growth processes due to the maintenance at the required level of many physiologically important reactions also affect other vitamins - E, C, B vitamins. They are also found in large quantities in virtually all vegetables and fruits. Among products of animal origin, in which the content of vitamins is high, you can name the liver, kidneys, egg yolk.

So, if you have not crossed the threshold of adulthood (when the growth zones are no longer active) and want to add a couple of centimeters to the height, you should try to include in your diet vegetables and fruits that actively promote growth. Probably the most affordable vegetable for you, containing a large amount of vitamin growth, will be all we know carrots. It is favorably different from other overseas vegetables and fruits at its own cost and, moreover, it is stored for a long time. From it you can prepare a variety of delicious and healthy dishes that promote growth. But you should know one important feature: since vitamin A is fat-soluble, the best assimilation of this substance by our body will be noted in cases when carrots are present in dishes along with fats (both vegetable and animals). That is, to better assimilate vitamin A, it is better to use grated carrots not mixed with sugar, but adding one or two spoons of vegetable oil.

Another point that should be taken into account when preparing dishes from vegetables and fruits that promote growth is, if possible, avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures for these herbal products in the process of cooking. The matter is that vitamins in the majority are unstable substances which quickly are destroyed at heating. Of course, for cooking some dishes without heating the food simply can not do (for example, stewed carrots), but in such cases, know that vegetables and fruits that have been subjected to heat treatment will promote growth to a lesser extent compared to fresh vegetable salads.

Thus, by diversifying your diet at the expense of fruits and vegetables that contain a large number of vitamins and thereby promote growth, you can to some extent affect your appearance by adding a couple of centimeters in height. But at the same time it is advisable to visit sports clubs in such sports as volleyball or basketball - such physical exercises, which require a large number of jumps in each training, will also significantly contribute to the growth of your body.
