A femme fatale is a myth or a reality?

Probably, every person at least once in my life came across this mysterious term - a fatal woman. Who is she? The character of books and films, which never found an embodiment in reality, or roaming among us the object of lust for many men? Is there a "femme fatale" outside the book pages?

Literature and cinematography repeatedly glorified this image. More than one generation in admiration was following the intrigues of the famous Milady, courtesan of Torpil - one of the main heroines of the famous novel Honore de Balzac and many others. They were women, worthy of admiration and deification, women, because of whom they shot at duels, killed, created insanities ... However, in most cases any person who closed a book or finished watching a film can hardly find a corresponding analogue in real life. Why?

A fatal woman is an endangered species?

Were they ever in reality or were they not at all? Maybe modern times are not a haven for such people? Maybe they all stayed in the past, faded with the Revolution, the Silver Age, Palace coups, etc.?

Most modern men do not fit the category of noble knights. Hardly any of them like comments of this kind, so they prefer to respond to such attacks by the fact that there is no point in defending and fighting for someone else. There were no true fatal women. Women demand to themselves attention from others, being unable to give it to themselves. Representatives of the fair sex, which fit into the category of "fatal", just not to meet on the street.

A modern woman, unfortunately, can hardly attract the attention of a knight. This is due to the fact that the aspirations and hopes of the female individuals are now concentrated on such banal things as diet, the universal way to tie a man to him, etc. Women prefer to spend time discussing men, complaining that it's very rare to really get someone interested. Of course, these ladies are very quickly boring men.

What do we know about fatal women?

At present, society offers us a rather boring scenario of relationships. They boil down to a successful marriage, preferably at an early age. The society teaches us to closely monitor our appearance. We rely on the fact that a man can not resist our beauty and well-groomed. Fatal women, known in history (for example, Lilya Brik), were rarely real beauties. Moreover, their ability to drive men crazy was comparable to talent or a natural gift: very few people can really learn this art on their own. Fatal women rarely stormed high posts, tried to implement themselves in the field of art and culture. They used another skill - the conquest of men.

Career or family?

The problem of generations is more acute than ever. Parents expect us to marry, grandchildren and self-realization in the family. We sometimes can not fight our own ambitions and leave all this not even on the second, but on the tenth plane. In an effort to become a femme fatale, we are ready to spend huge sums of money to transform our appearance. We can really change, become more groomed and more beautiful. But hardly any of us would have been attracted to the fate of a femme fatale, who by virtue of her charm is almost doomed to loneliness. Few of them have known the happiness of true love, stretching for decades. They are mostly captives of the image, in which they were born.

Is the game worth the candle?

In pursuit of career peaks, a collection of male hearts and self-realization in the chosen field, we often forget about what it means to be a woman. Inspired by bright historical images, we try to transfer the seen charm to reality, try it on as if it were a bright accessory, not realizing that true happiness is not in this. We try to fit into a stereotype, even if it's successful, not realizing that our mission is not to be someone else, but to be ourselves. A woman who enjoys what she is by nature takes the right niche in her life.
