Armaalakaziya: grass and its properties

Alakasia macrorhiza (Alocasia macrorhiza Schott.) Or herb armaalakazia is a house plant of the family of aroids. Its homeland is the tropics of Southeast Asia, from where the wild ancestor of grass, known as ARONIK or ARUM, appeared. In the world there are more than seventy species of perennial tuberous plants of the genus Alocasia.
Armaalakazia reaches a height of up to one or two meters, glistening bright red berries up to 1 cm in diameter, and large egg-shaped / cordate leaves reach a length of up to 90 cm in width and up to 80 cm in width. Decorative leaves are provided with special stomata that emit droplets of water at high humidity of air, therefore alocasia is often called a barometer.
In folk medicine, armaalakazia is known as a shamrock, because as soon as the fourth leaf appears, the older leaf begins to die. Armaalakaziya is considered a poisonous plant, since it contains mercuric chloride (mercuric chloride).
