Art therapy: critical thinking

Art therapy is one of the most delicate, but effective methods in psychology. By creating, you seem to receive from yourself a coded message that will help relieve tension and better understand yourself.

Music therapy
It's no secret that in the last few years, experts consider music treatment to be one of the most effective methods in psychotherapy! Scientific research has proved that music therapy helps with stress, insomnia, chronic fatigue syndrome. And, most of all, this method will suit everyone and almost everywhere, because you can listen to your favorite songs even at work or in transport. How to do it? Several times a week, arrange for yourself passive music therapy sessions - listen to your favorite album or radio wave. Even 20 minutes of listening will help you relax and keep a good mood. By the way, if you want to cheer up - alternate fast and slow music with an interval of 5-7 minutes. Do not forget about active music therapy! Sing karaoke or just like that, if you want, play musical instruments (by the way, art therapy is an excellent opportunity to learn!). Agree, express with the help of songs what you are worried about, much better than to sort out the relationship or get angry with the whole white world.

This wonderful method will help you "work through" any problems and eventually find the best way out of any situation. Moreover, psychologists noticed that many people already have one story creation enough to make their lives changed for the better. This phenomenon can be explained simply: you program yourself to the positive, and the universe can not fail to respond the same. How to do it? When you feel inspired, try to think up a fairy tale. Heroes in it can be anyone, but if you want to not just distract, but also to find the answer to an important question for you, you should become the central character. And most importantly, no matter what the ups and downs you get, to the finale everything should end in the best way.

In psychology there is a concept of catharsis - detente, which comes after experiencing. And it is caused not by real life events, but by their display in movies, performances, songs. Remember, did not you cry, for example, over "White Bim ..."? This is catharsis. And to achieve it still help drama therapy. Losing the life situation that bothers you, you are experiencing it again, and thus you force the subconscious to look for a way out. Stand in front of a mirror and try to play different situations (interview, toast, conflict conversation). Playing a role, say everything that comes to your mind, even if at first it seems to you delirium. The more feelings you release "at will", the better.
Experiences or dreams on paper are much easier than to tell. The more that each of us draws (or drew in the childhood). If we are portraying something, we seem to "turn off" the internal censor, become as honest as possible with ourselves, look into our subconscious. Therefore, when practicing isotherapy, try not to plan what and how you will draw - do it more spontaneously with the advent of inspiration.

How to do it? You will need paper and pencils, paints, crayons and an hour or two of seclusion. Imagine what your problem looks like, fatigue, spleen or, on the contrary, what could please you, make you laugh. And start painting. By the way, this does not necessarily have to be a plot picture. Graduated? Analyze the picture. And if the colors are more or less clear with the colors (red - fear or desire for success, green - relaxation, yellow - desire for fun, blue - desire to know something), then the interpretation of the story may be unexpected.

As experts explain , the popularity and effectiveness of art therapy are based, above all, on the fact that people who have resorted to it, receive genuine pleasure from the work. Therefore, choose for yourself the kind of art therapy that you like, not the one praised by a close friend or recommended in the TV program even by a well-known psychotherapist.
