Filatova's mother worked at the factory, where they distributed lists of soldiers who needed to write to the front. Here's Leonid's mother saw the namesake, wrote to him, then they met, got married. For example, Filatov himself wanted to become a director, but he was not admitted to this faculty at the VGIK. Leonid was already disappointed in his abilities, when one of the classmates told him not to give up his hand ahead of time and try his hand at the Shchukin school. Only this time, do not act on the stage, but on the acting faculty. Filatov obeyed a good advice, and did the right thing. He was accepted into the Shchukin school and there he completed the course of Lvov and Shikhmatov.
