Polish was born almost before the war itself - in 1939. The actress had a father and mother, whom she lost because of World War II. Galina's father went to the front, in 1943 he was no more. Biography of the actress's mother is also sad. During the war, the woman contracted tuberculosis and died in 1947. So Polish remained an orphan. The girl was given to an orphanage, and, it would seem, the blackest strip will begin here. However, here the girl's fate still smiled. Found her own grandmother, who took the small Galya to her. Of course, life in a nine-meter room was clearly not luxurious, but, in any case, it was not an orphanage. Besides, next to Galya was her native man.

The girl was very fond of and appreciated grandmother, and she did everything to enable Galya to learn. She always tried to help her granddaughter and did not interfere with her wishes. And she herself was already twenty and she managed to give birth to a daughter. Therefore, Galya was not particularly suited to the role externally. However, the director still took it to the film and did not lose it. Tanya is not an unambiguous character. It was necessary to have a talent to show the drama of this girl who does not know how to adapt to someone and always acts in accordance with conscience. Who loves for the first time in her life, but so much and truly, as sometimes happens, people never learn to love even in adulthood. Galina has perfectly turned out to realize this character. The audience believed her and immediately fell in love. Therefore, we can assume that the Galina of Poland, success came immediately after her first role. This film received many prizes at international festivals. At one of them Galina met Federico Fellini. He gave the girl his photo and noted that she is a wonderful actress. By the way, Fellini more than once confirmed his admiration for Galya. He called her several times to shoot, however, Soviet officials constantly found reasons not to release the actress from the country.
Meanwhile, Galina continued to withdraw. The next known role of Galina was the character of Alyona, in the film "I walk around Moscow". It was Galina who was the collective image of Soviet sixties girls. She was a cheerful, cheerful womanly dreamer. Therefore, she was very fond of viewers, and many wanted to be like Galina. Polska herself always tried to play in such a way as to interest the viewer, to show him the inner nature of his characters. She did this with the help of facial expressions, gestures and intonation.

Everything seemed to be beautiful. But, apparently no one has the right to be constantly happy. So Galina began a black streak. Moreover, in the professional sphere everything was excellent. She just had to be in the movie "Journalist". The role in this picture Gerasimov wrote just for her. This director was a teacher of Galina and very much wanted her to play in his film. And Galya played, although it was not easy for her. Her grandmother died and it was a blow. But, finally, the woman finished off what happened ten days after the death of her own person. In Odessa, in a car crash, Faik's husband crashed. It was awful, dishonest and so painful that another, probably, would break. But, Galya had a four-year-old daughter, for whose sake it was worth living. Therefore, the Polish gathered the will into a fist and began to work. It was the work that distracted you from pain and thoughts about your native people, which you will never return.
Galina devoted her whole life to a career and daughters. She had a second marriage, which fell apart, but after him, another daughter remained with Galya. The woman no longer married because of the jealousy of the children. Now, in the declining years, she sometimes regrets that she has remained alone, because from time to time attacks of burning loneliness come. However, Galina still does not regret that she lived this way. She played many roles and left a bright trace in the hearts of the audience.
