Patentex
A vaginal contraceptive with a spermicidal effect. At body temperature, suppositories melted to form a foam that spreads evenly through the vagina, distributing the active substance nonoxynol-9. Patentex reduces the tension of the membrane of spermatozoa, paralyzes movement, forms a barrier that prevents their penetration into the uterus. In addition to the contraceptive effect, the drug destroys bacteria and parasites, provides prevention from sexual infections. The Pearl Index of Patentex is 0.4-1.5%.
Lady
Vaginal suppositories of the group of intravaginal contraceptives. They have a strong spermatocidal effect: they provoke fragmentation, reduced mobility, sperm death, do not contain hormones, do not change the hormonal balance. The contraceptive effect is activated 10 minutes after the injection, lasting 2-2.5 hours. After sexual contact, the weight of the candle is removed along with the semen and vaginal mucus naturally. The index of Pearl Lady is 1-2%.
Erotex
Contraceptive of local action. The active substance (benzalkonium chloride) differs spermicidal effect, due to which it is able to destroy the lipid membrane of spermatozoa. Erotex has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, is active against gonococci, chlamydia, trichomonads, staphylococci, HIV and hepatitis B viruses. It does not affect the hormonal background and vaginal microflora, including Dodderlein's wand. The index of the Perle of Erotex suppositories is 0.5-1.5%.
Benatex
Contraceptive candles Benatex with cationic detergent have antifungal, antiprotozoal, bactericidal, spermatocidal effect. They are active against staphylococci, herpes virus, streptococci. Do not depress the vaginal microflora, do not change the hormonal sphere, serve as a preventive for STDs. The Perl index is 1-2%.
