Depression and ways of treating the disease

Anyone who does not know the state of depression, can say: "Yes it's just a simulation: a man indulges himself or just a weakling." After all, you yourself constantly torment yourself with questions: "Did not cope? Could not? "And even more acute sense of guilt for the fact that every morning with difficulty you force yourself to get out of bed and go somewhere, do something.

But the strength is getting smaller, and life seems meaningless. You turned into a machine that carried out the commands of the mind, and lost something very important: what made you alive. But like any other illness, depression and ways of treating the disease are.

What are you lacking in depression? Of course, joy! You have ceased to rejoice that the sun rises, it rains or snows, that you breathe and, in the end, just live. And when you are depressed, you do not have enough love: when you are alone, you can not crawl out of the shell of your world, which has become a dead end. And you do not have enough faith: in yourself, in the future, in life and people. You did not even notice when you lost it all. Just at some point the forces suddenly left the body, the world lost its appeal.

Is there a way out of this state of depression? Of course there is. First of all, you need to stop fighting depression and find ways to treat the disease. Look at her as a friend who will help open your eyes to something you did not notice before, but what really turned out to be so important to life. Having understood the depression and the ways of treating the disease, you will not only get rid of it, but will also become a wise, truly strong person.

Joy

Joy is the highest degree of satisfaction during depression. This feeling is inherent in all living beings: see how our pets pets and wild animals frolic. It seems that even plants smile when they pull stems and twigs to the sun. All beings survive precisely because of the principle of satisfying their vital needs and enjoying it. Pleasure serves the body as an orientation to the fact that it acts most effectively and in the right direction. This is the basic bodily reaction that allows you to survive. And it is never excessive: neither plants nor animals try to get more than they need. That's why the paradox of a modern secured society, which is massively affected by depression and ways of treating the disease, is looking for. What happens to people when they demand more and more from life?

Such excessiveness speaks only of one thing: alienation from one's own body. We ceased to feel his messages telling us what is good, what's bad, when it's enough, and when we need more. So, they lost the ability to feel real satisfaction from life. Not getting a natural pleasure from the very process of being, we come up with more and more new goals: I will have it (I will become so, I will achieve this, I will do this) - and finally I will enjoy it. And in the end we are disappointed, because in fact we are striving for another: we want to feel real pleasure. And when we can not reach this state for a long time, depression approaches and the ways of treating the disease are very difficult.

No organism can exist fully without a sense of satisfaction: in physiology, this is a process of relaxation of tension. A living system always acts on the principle of tension and relaxation, reception and bestowal. And when one of these links falls, the body experiences stress and depression: both metabolism and energy processes are disrupted. We find ourselves in a situation of mental and physiological impasse. First of all, one must understand that real pleasure is not for external purposes, but in physical ability to experience it - in establishing a connection with one's own body.

Love

Speaking of love, the highest human value, we, of course, talk about the relationship. Our "I" feels the need to necessarily be connected to someone else. This deep need is rooted at the time when we were in the womb of the mother, connected by an umbilical cord into a single organism. The first experience lays in our body the basic law of life: love is a union. Thanks to the union of a man and a woman, a new life arises. The union of the mother and the fetus allows the development of a new organism. And a child of up to three years is particularly keenly aware of its unity with the mother: physiologically and emotionally, he needs her care and attention.

Modern psychology and folk wisdom recommend mothers up to three years of maximum contact with the child and meet his natural needs, without resorting to punishments. It is important to understand that at this age the child does not act uprightly, but openly and directly expresses his emotions. For example, excessive anxiety of the crumbs can be explained by the fact that during pregnancy the mother's womb was in tonus or the birth was severe. It is necessary to compensate the infant for these feelings with love and care, and not with punishments and disregard. Loving mother, no matter how tired she is, gets pleasure from communicating with the baby.

To love is to be one. When a mother feeds a child, talks to him, she gives herself completely and feels joy. It is noted that a person's ability to give love is directly proportional to the pleasure that parents experienced in his upbringing. In such cases, the child has confidence in himself and people, confidence that he has the unconditional right to life and is not superfluous in this world. If the child has not received love, he will have an inferiority complex. Already an adult, he will try to deserve love by any means: he will try to become the best, the most hardworking, the cleverest or the most recalcitrant, etc. After long attempts, he will feel the futility of efforts and his hands will drop - a dead end. And the whole point is that, firstly, the love that he seeks does not depend on his personal qualities - it is unconditional. And, secondly, distrust of people, which means that the inability to establish close ties with anyone has already been recorded in his body by children's emotional traumas. Do not blame the parents, because they themselves were the hostages of the same problems. And it is pointless to demand from the world of love - this body blocks and nullifies all relationships. But the adult has everything, there is a way out. And if we do not feel and love life in our own body, then our love for others will be just a surrogate.

We will control, demand, take offense, and not give the joy of life. Unite with your body - and unconditional love will definitely return to you.

Vera

Talking about faith is meaningless, you can just feel it. It is the basis of any religion. But the word "religion" is translated from Latin as "reunification". Hence, faith is something that takes us beyond the boundaries of a separate existence and connects with something great and eternal. Everyone, regardless of belonging to any religious denomination, at heart feels the need for immortality. We can not accept the idea that this brief moment of life is all that we have, because then life becomes meaningless. We want to believe that this is not so. But how to do that? Entering into any religious tradition does not necessarily automatically lead to the appearance of faith. To take faith from external attributes is impossible - this is a deep personal experience. And it is not for nothing that in many religions, in particular Eastern religions, so much attention is paid to the body. The experience of bodily practices such as yoga, dynamic meditation, qigong, etc., shows that working with the body, we awaken in ourselves an amazing sense of belonging to a single life stream that passes through the bodies of all living beings. And we find the inexplicable - the faith. To do this, do not necessarily go into the jungle of eastern practices: it is enough to release the suppressed breath and listen to your body.

Breathe deeper

What prevents you from listening to your own body? Due to early emotional trauma, as well as fears to fully experience the full range of feelings inherent in a person (from joy to grief), muscle clamps form in the body, depression and ways of treating the disease are not so easy. Spasmodic muscles do not allow breathing freely to flow through the body. But it is in the breath that the secret of life lies. Supplying with energy the processes of metabolism, it thereby supports the fire of life.

For example, very many people do not feel the energy connection with their legs, feel the emptiness in the abdomen and chest. Therefore, the breathing of a person who is depressed is superficial and shallow. An important step towards recovery will be the very understanding that you can find a way out of depression and find ways to treat the disease, contact with your own body will help you. This is not so easy to do, because it was in it that the failures and pain were fixed.

But there is simply no other way . Only by untying the knotted knots, one can free one's breath and regain vital energy. Alexander Lowen, the founder of body-oriented therapy, offers exercises that a person can do on his own, in order to achieve unity with his body. To get a positive effect, you should practice regularly. If you feel anxious during the exercise, try to analyze it from the point of view of your childhood experiences and continue your training. If there is a desire to cry - cry: it means that you come to life. Having come into contact with the body, and trusting the flow of life force, you can survive any grief, pain and depression.

Depression and ways of treating the disease: healing exercises will lead a person into harmony. Feeling the vital pulsation of your body, we feel a partaking in the ever-pulsing life. It gives us strength and health, gives joy, love and deep faith, helping to overcome life difficulties, depression.
