Disorder in the room from the psychological point of view

In the article "The disorder in the room from the point of view of psychology" we will tell you how you can deal with the disorder in the room. In one Bulgarian fairy tale is told about the old man who decided to marry his son, but that the girl at the same time was hard-working and accurate. Having loaded his cart with fruit, he went to the village and began shouting the next phrase, which surprised many, he shouted: "I change fruit for garbage". Many took advantage of this quirk and carried bags of rubbish in exchange for fruit. Only one girl brought a very small bundle, and complained that there was no more rubbish in the house. That's what the old man sent to her and made no mistake in choosing, she was a wonderful hostess, and the young family lived in prosperity and joy.

But when in our time you go into another house, you remember the old fairy tale. It is difficult to suppress a grin at the sight of a multi-day layer of dust, unwashed dishes and scattered things. Probably, this family was created by other principles of matchmaking. In another house there is an order that borders on such sterility, that it is simply fearful, something to move or something to touch. It's hard not to be happy for the well-being that reigns in the house and not to refrain from complimenting the hostess. And sometimes, there is an atmosphere of discontent and tension in the house. And in an uncleared apartment people are satisfied with each other and live, soul in the soul. Why is this happening?

American psychologist William James believed that besides addictions, beliefs and interests in the structure of the human personality, it is necessary to include what a person believes to be his: dear things to the heart, everyday clothes that copy the folds of the body shape, favorite books on the home shelf, and more. The decoration of the house is an element of the physical self, and one can say a lot about its inhabitants by carefully looking at the dwelling. The first thing that catches your eye is a mess or order. What, from the point of view of psychology, means disorder, this is a sign of general looseness, inaccuracy and indiscipline. But the ideal order attests to firm principles and spiritual harmony. But such an explanation is very simple to be true. Since at every step life tells us other unequivocal conclusions.

Parents of almost all teens complain about their inaccuracy that it is almost impossible to force them to keep order in the room. And the whole point is that the interests of the younger generation are broad, directed to the outside world and are not tied to the details of everyday life. Only when the teenager feels on himself all those inconveniences that the disorder contains, he will gradually become neat.

When phone numbers, such needed ones are written on some scraps of paper, when you do not know where to put the necessary thing, when a place that is intended for meeting with friends or for classes is littered with some things, then you begin to take care of the order. But only becoming a mature person, a person acquires real accuracy.

Does it mean that the disorder in the house indicates that the hostess or master was not able to grow up properly? Maybe it will be a man to live and act in everything, like a little child. But the problem here can be deeper. All of us, in the end, understand that it's bad to throw things away.

If a person is not able to bring order in his house, then it only indicates a serious internal conflict. The accumulated rubbish, scattered clothes and so on, speak for their master, that he is not able to put things in their places.

A full sink of unwashed dishes, weeks of accumulated dirty laundry, a crowded trash can, say that I do not know how to set and systematically solve problems, I do not know how to distribute my forces. If a person can not organize his life, then serious tasks are beyond his power.

Your business does not argue, everything does not happen as you would like, do not you think that serious life situations just got out of your control? Of course, I would like to overcome this unpleasant feeling. Start small, look at your home and ask yourself where you need to clean up.

When you lay out your scattered things on the shelves, then you do much more, you learn, organize your problems, that is, put them on the shelves. Put in your "physical self" clarity and then the results will not make you wait.

There is another extreme. How to pay attention to psychologists, a strong commitment to order and purity, a symptom of self-doubt, a symptom of inner weakness.

By arranging his physical world at home, man, as it were, seeks to protect himself from the chaos of the big world, which is terrible and too complex for him. Thereby a vicious circle of tension arises: a thing delivered by someone from the household is not in its place, it brings grief and annoyance. Work on the house takes a lot of time and energy, does not leave room for other important things. And then in this scraped-up shell there is a feeling of loneliness.

Such a trap can be adjusted to a script that was learned in the parent family, when the order became an important life goal and at any cost. Such a person can only be pitied, for whom the main task is brilliant parquet and snow-white towels. After all, order in the house is a necessary condition, and not the goal, to solve these serious life problems. If we understand this simple truth, then we will find the golden mean which distinguishes true harmony - spiritual and material.

Each room in the house has some symbolic meaning, and has its influence on your subconscious. Garbage and mess in every room causes stagnation and inactivity in certain aspects of life.

Disorder in the kitchen
No wonder the kitchen is called "the heart of the house." Here you eat, you store up some energy, even if you have dinner with a defrosted semi-finished product in a microwave oven. Dirty and sloppy cuisine creates difficulties in supply and nutrition, on a spiritual and physical level. As you care about the kitchen, you can tell how you relate to the sources of abundance, energy supply, to your own food. A neat and clean kitchen opens the space for comfort and protection that you need so much.

Disorder in the dining room and living room
These are rooms in which you are going with friends, with family, with people close enough for you. Here you contact the outside world when you are at home, argue with friends about politics at the dinner table, read the newspaper, watch TV. Confusion will turn this space into a den, and perhaps you are so dirty that you do not invite friends for years. Maybe you are hiding from others in a pile of rubbish?

Clutter in the bedroom
Bedrooms for adults are a place for intimacy and for sleep, they must fulfill the function of renewing relationships and people. The disorder in the bedroom will bring not energy, but weakness. If in the most intimate space you feel tired, just put things in order, and this will help you to move away from stress and relax. And only then you can have a good time with your partner and have a nice sleep.

Confusion in the corridor
The corridor is the artery of your house. And the mess in your corridor, like a "traffic jam" on the road. It prevents you from interacting with different parts of your life and your home. Look at the corridor: is it so difficult to stumble in it, is it easy to walk through it, is it well lit? If you have difficulties in interacting with people and with yourself, between family and work, probably, it's time for you to put things in order in the corridor.

Clutter in the bathroom
Body care and ablution is such a daily ritual. In everyday life, this space you use, so that you can prepare for communication with the world. The disorder in the bathroom indicates a lack of attention to yourself, and not only at the physical level, also indicates a low self-esteem. A well-decorated and clean bathroom can be a place for rejuvenation and self-care, a serene and peaceful place. Decorate your bathroom, clean up, turn it into a place where you can hide from everyone and stay with yourself, where you will feel safe during the evening and morning bathing rituals.

Clutter in the toilet
When you fill the toilet with garbage, you suppress your insight and intuition. A dirty toilet indicates problems that hamper development in relationships and work, hamper your development in life, problems that you do not really understand. When the toilet door is tightly closed, this does not mean that you have left problems.

Disorder in the garage
Your car is a symbol of independence and mobility. If you have a garbage dump in your garage, your car can hardly fit there, then you need to be very careful, and it's very hard for you to move through life.

Now we know what a mess in the room is from the point of view of psychology. Do not think about cleaning, as something terrible. Each shirt that you give to the new owner, each book that you take to the library. And also every sheet of paper and magazine that you put in junk, will create in your life space for events, joy and for new energy.
