Enzyme epilation: procedure, effectiveness, contraindications

Enzyme hair removal is one of those ways to get rid of unnecessary hair, which deliver the least unpleasant sensations during the procedure. This is a very important factor, since epilation refers to those procedures that should be performed fairly regularly, i.e. regularly experience not very pleasant sensations.

Enzyme epilation can be called one of the most modern methods of epilation. This method of epilation is attributed to the most sparing ways of getting rid of extra hair. The procedure is most popular and active, which is not surprising, during the holiday season. It is quite economical, does not require a lot of time and gives a good result.

Method of carrying out the enzyme depilation procedure

The basis of this procedure is the chemical method of using those drugs that contain enzymes in their composition, such as trypsin, chymotrypsin, papain. Enzymes when exposed to hair follicles, as well as to metabolic processes, go into them, slow down, and then completely stop hair growth. The most appropriate background for the most effective work of enzymes and substances containing them is the use of the thermal component of the method, that is, the heating by infrared radiation that is as safe as possible.

This method of epilation can be used on any part of the body, including arms and legs, axillary hollows, bikini zones and others, but with one exception-enzyme hair removal is not suitable for the face area.

Features of the procedure

At the first stage of the epilation carried out, the specialist cosmetologist conducts classic caramel, sugar or wax epilation. Further, a special preparation is applied to the surface to be treated, which includes enzymes. The wizard carefully wraps the areas to be treated with a special osmotic film, after which silicone osmotic tapes (thermobands) are applied. Infrared radiation, which goes in thermobands, is distributed over their entire surface with the same intensity, the stratified structure is such that a pulse of influences is created, which is most favorable for enzyme therapy.

After this there is a process of heating the treated zone of epilation with the aid of an infrared laser. This radiation helps improve the ability of active substances to penetrate deep into the skin, where they destroy the hair and affect the roots of the hair, reducing the rate of their growth. When the temperature is affected, the hair bands are opened and at the same time the activity of the enzymes increases. After the hair follicles lose their connection with the neighboring ones, they remain without energy and oxygen, they die, and the hair pouch closes and grows.

The final part of epilation is the moistening of the skin with milk, which contains enzymes and which allows you to remove redness and significantly slows down hair growth.

The procedure of enzyme epilation is recommended at least once a month to achieve a stable effect, but some effect can be seen in a month. To achieve maximum effect, you should spend at least 6-8 sessions.

Immediately after the procedure, it is not recommended for a few days to have a violent sun, visit a solarium or a swimming pool and generally avoid getting ultraviolet rays and water on the skin, especially in those areas where epilation was performed. Between sessions, do not perform any other types of depilation.
