Gingerbread is a real Christmas symbol: fragrant, crispy, with a subtle spicy taste. Furnace them - it's easy and simple, so it's worth doing several parties at once: relatives and friends will definitely want additives.
Ingredients:
- Butter - 115 g
- Sugar (brown or white) - 65 g
- Honey - 155 g
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Soda - 0.5 tsp.
- Cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg - for 0.5 tsp.
- Flour - 375 g
Cooking method:
- Mix the mixer in a bowl of butter and sugar until a homogeneous mass
- Introduce egg and honey into the mixture (can be replaced with molasses or syrup), stir
- Add spices and soda to the dough
- Add flour to the mass gradually, in small portions, constantly mixing
- After kneading the dough, form it in a bowl, wrap the food film and send it to the refrigerator for an hour. You can leave for the night
- After taking out the dough, divide it into several parts. Each part is rolled between sheets of parchment to a sheet 3 to 5 mm thick
- Cut gingerbread notches, collecting the remains of dough and forming from them new sheets
- Bake figurines 7 - 15 minutes in the oven, heated to 175 С
- Ready gingerbread can be sprinkled with powder, chocolate crumbs, pour glaze, caramel or vanilla sauce. Ginger figurines can be stored in a cool place for several weeks
