How to calculate the proportions of a person's body

The main parameter on the basis of which the calculations are made is growth. So, the coefficient of proportionality of the body is calculated by the formula: KP = ((L1 - L2) / L2) * 100 where L1 - body length in standing position, and L2 - in sitting position. The norm is 87-92%. The length of the legs is considered ideal if it is 4-6 centimeters greater than half the body. And to subtract how ideal your waist is, subtract from the growth of 100 cm. For a proportional figure, the circumference of the chest is equal to half the height. An error of 2.5 cm is allowed. Adding to this value another 10 centimeters, we obtain the ideal circumference of the bust. Dividing the waist by the volume of the hips, we get one more important relationship characterizing the proportional figure. Ideally, the indicator should be 0.7-0.8. For example, the statue of Venus, this coefficient is 0.74.

How to calculate the proportions of a face

It is visually difficult to determine how proportional a person is. But subconsciously, we characterize a person with "right" facial features as beautiful and attractive. The golden proportion of 1,618 is not accidentally called "the number of beauty". If the ratio of the distance between any part of the face to a certain area is equal to this value, it is the reference one. To understand how perfect a person is, make several calculations:

• Distance from the vertex to the chin (distance between points 1-2) / width of the face (distance between points 10-11).
• The height of the lips (the distance between points 13-14) / width of the nose (the distance between points 6-7).
• The width of the nose (the distance between points 6-7) / distance from the tip of the nose to the middle of the lips (distance between points 4-5).
• The distance between the outer corners of the eyes (distance between points 8-9) / distance from the hair growth line to the pupil (distance between points 12-3).
• Distance from the vertex to the pupil (distance between points 6-7) / distance from pupil to lips (distance between points 3-5).
• Distance from nose to chin (distance between points 4-2) / distance from the middle of the lips to the chin (distance between points 5-2).
• Distance from nose to chin (distance between points 4-2) / distance from pupil to nose (distance between points 3-4).
