Gem from physalis is cooked as follows: 1. Peel the physilis berries from the skin, rinse and dry. 2. Berries are placed in a saucepan, a glass of water is poured in there and cooked until softening of the berries - about 15-20 minutes. 3. When the berries are softened, add sugar to the pan and cook, stirring, until a thick consistency - it's still 20-25 minutes. Cook on low heat. 4. When the mixture acquires the consistency of jam, immediately pack jam on jars. Cover the jars of the lid and sterilize in boiling water for 15-20 minutes. Done :)
