Herring in a roll Herring under a fur coat - a habitual dish on holidays. The taste of this dish is familiar to everyone from childhood. Herring under a fur coat is a familiar combination of products, but in a new design. The roll turns out to be slightly more delicate than the usual fur coat, since all components, except for onion and herring, rub on the small grater. Another advantage of this dish is that the roll is beautifully cut into portions if it has stood for a sufficient time in the fridge and is well soaked. The number of ingredients can vary slightly depending on how large a roulette you will be.
Ingredients:- Salted herring 1 pc.
- Potatoes 5 pcs.
- Beets 2 pcs.
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Onions 1 pc.
- Eggs chicken 2 pcs.
- Mayonnaise 8 tbsp. l.
- Apple vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You will need salted salted herring, potatoes, beets, carrots, onions.
- Step 2 Boil potatoes, beets and carrots in uniforms. Eggs boil hard. Clean it up.
- Step 3 Cut the onion into small cubes and marinate in vinegar.
- Step 4 Peel the herring and cut into small cubes.
- Step 5 Cut the chopping board with a food film. On the food film, first coat the beetroot. Align to the size of the board. Cover the beetroot on top with another piece of food film and press it lightly over the whole area of the roll. Then remove the film.
- Step 6 Spread the beetroot layer with mayonnaise.
- Step 7 On top of the beets, a second layer of potatoes. Spread the potatoes with mayonnaise.
- Step 8 Next, grate the carrots.
- Step 9 Above the carrots, cut the eggs. Apply a layer of mayonnaise.
- Step 10 In the middle of the future roll lay out pieces of herring and finely chopped onions.
- Step 11 From both sides, take the edges of the film and roll the roll. Put the roll in a film in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
