Baguette crackers with thyme I really love to cook homemade croutons, it's from the baguette that they turn out to be so thin, crunchy and tasty that it's impossible to tear yourself away. Of course, in this lies the danger for the figure, but this is their only drawback and sometimes you can afford such a delicacy. Cooking crackers at home can be with any spices and herbs for your taste, for example, I like the option with fresh thyme and fragrant olive oil.
Ingredients:- Mini baguette 1 pc.
- Olive oil 30 ml
- Thyme (Thyme) fresh 8 sprigs
- Sea salt 8 g
- Step 1 Prepare the ingredients: salt, olive oil, baguette, thyme. Turn on the oven at 200 ° C. For the preparation of crackers it is better to use yesterday's or the day before yesterday's baguette.
- Step 2 Cut the leaves with thyme. Twigs are not needed.
- Step 3 Finely slice the baguette into slices with a sharp knife.
- Step 4 Accurately (drops) spread the olive oil on the baguette slices with a brush. Do not pour a lot of oil, otherwise it will start burning during cooking. The oil in this recipe is used solely to give the crackers taste and aroma.
- Step 5 Add salt and thyme to the sliced baguette - gently mix with your hands.
- Step 6 Spread the future croutons on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in one layer and send to the oven for 6-8 minutes. During this time, crunches should dry well.
- Step 7 Completely otsudite ready-made crackers and serve as a snack or a crunchy complement to beer.
