How to cook natural soap from a child?

Many of us unwittingly slow down the pace, passing by the shops with handmade soap. Tender and surprisingly fragrant, it pleases the eye and the sense of smell. Lemon, raspberry, peach, chocolate, vanilla ... Some copies and you want to eat.

If you are just taking the first steps in soap making, the easiest way is to use baby soap as the basis. Natural soap is not cheap, so it is often used as a gift. Fragrant slices serve as a flavor for linen, and some even occupy a place of honor on the shelf for souvenirs and various knickknacks.

Recently there has been a real boom in soap making. It is not surprising, because this occupation is not only extremely exciting, but also useful. Some even manage to turn their hobbies into a source of good money.

Pros of home soap abound:

In order to make soap with their own hands, it is not necessary to have a whole heap of sophisticated components. At first, it will be enough to have a regular baby soap as a base and several ingredients that will be found in any home.

Fillers can be very different. It all depends on the type of skin and the purpose of the soap.

For moisturizing and softening the skin, you can add healing oils (olive, grape, almond, sesame). However, remember that for 100 grams of the original soap, you can add just one teaspoon, otherwise in the end your remedy will not wash well.

A simple way to make natural soap at home

For this we need:

  1. First of all, rubbed soap on a grater (you can use a blender).
  2. Fill the resulting crumb with milk at room temperature. Instead, you can use decoctions of herbs or water.
  3. Thoroughly mix, then put on a water bath. The mass should thicken well. Then add the oil, fillers and put for 3 minutes in the microwave (preferably every 30 seconds, remove and mix, achieving a uniform consistency).
  4. We pour out the future soap on the molds previously lubricated with oil. You can use any container, even plastic cups from yogurt, but silicone bakeware is much more convenient.
  5. Usually, after a day, the soap should become hard. If this does not happen, do not worry. If it turned out very soft, just put the molds for 2-3 hours in the freezer.
  6. The finished soap must be carefully removed from the molds and spread out to make it dry and not sticky to the fingers. The drying process can take a couple of weeks or even a month.
