How to keep healthy teeth

In our article "How to keep healthy teeth" you will be able to find out what are the methods of fighting caries and plaque.

From bleeding gums and darkening of enamel is not so far away to the destruction of teeth. Take urgent measures!

To have healthy and beautiful teeth is fashionable, prestigious and simply necessary. But do we often go to the dentist and follow his recommendations? Alas ... Only in extreme cases - when the pain becomes unbearable. Problems begin much earlier. Almost every woman during her life tolerates periodontal inflammations - gums and teeth. We notice this because of bleeding when brushing our teeth, often not perceiving as a serious symptom. In reality, bleeding gums - one of the signs of gingivitis. This disease, leading in the future to periodontitis and tooth loss, is reversible only at the initial stage. At this stage, you can cope with it with anyone - you need to carefully look after the oral cavity with the help of specially developed tools. Without the help and advice of a specialist is indispensable, but much can be done by herself. The main task is to neutralize the bacteria in the oral cavity, so that they do not attach to the surface of the teeth and do not form a dangerous plaque. A thorough daily hygiene of the teeth prevents the formation of plaque and inflammation of the gums.

Complete oral hygiene is not possible without cleaning the tongue. On its surface, a large number of harmful microbes accumulate, which in many ways is the cause of bad breath. To remove the plaque, you will need a tongue scraper or brush with a special application. Always start cleaning from the root of the tongue, gradually moving with scraping and cleaning movements to the front surface. Important nuance: with diseases of the stomach and LORorganov (chronic tonsillitis, sinusitis), clean the tongue and teeth in the morning before eating. Use the brush correctly!

It is not necessary to brush your teeth after each meal. It is enough to do this carefully in the morning and in the evening. Doctors and dentists should clean teeth and gums for at least 3 minutes, from right to left, moving from side to center, first from the outer surface, then from the inside. Brush the head of the brush at an angle of 45 ° to the tooth and do sweeping movements from the gum to the tooth. Finish cleaning by gum massage - with gentle pressure, do circular movements with the grasping of teeth and gums with closed teeth.

Manual or "automatic"?
Toothbrushes are manual and automatic (electric and ultrasonic). The latter have removable micro-attachments and a timer. By controlling the speed of rotational movements, they remove plaque well, reaching the most remote sites. As for the traditional "hand" models, it is better to choose a brush with thick bristles of soft or medium stiffness. It penetrates into the space between the teeth, does not damage the periodontal tissue and easily removes plaque from all surfaces of the teeth. The maximum service life of any brush is 3 months.

To prevent plaque is also recommended to use a special dental rinse. They prevent the re-emergence of microbes. Rinsing the mouth is best followed in the evening and in the morning after another brushing of the teeth. Also for the removal of plaque between the dental rubella should be performed with a dental floss. Such products are sold in dental centers and conventional pharmacies. Well, the most important rule: try to visit the dentist every two to three months. This will save you from all sorts of diseases of teeth and gums.
