As a rule, this is due to problems with coordination and balance. There are no other obstacles to mastering the skate. Indeed, not a hindrance or excess weight: the board without problems can withstand even a large 100-kilogram youth. Neither age, although fearlessness and flexibility allow adolescents to master faster tricks more quickly. Neither sex, despite the fact that individual experts claim that skateboarding is a non-sports kind of sport: slipping out from under the feet, the board often strikes the shin violently, leaving unattractive bruises on it. Special exercises that would help to learn how to skate, does not exist. However, classes on the simulator will allow developing coordination and a sense of balance. It is a board on a roller or roller, balancing on which, you try not to touch the ground. Feelings that you experience in this, akin to what you get from skateboarding or snowboarding. However, falling is less likely. And for beginners, not so scary, because "ride" on the spot, without moving forward.

Rise and go!

To first try to ride a skateboard, choose a suitable place where you will not be hindered by cars or by numerous passers-by. Asphalt ideally should be smooth and uncluttered. And no small, even small, slides! First just stand on the board. Try to feel it and find out which leg you will go forward: the lefties often have the right one, the right-handed ones have the left one, but this is not necessary. In skateboarding it is common to push off with a foot that is behind. This is rather a matter of aesthetics, an unwritten rule. It, in principle, can be broken, and with the same success to ride and even perform tricks. But it will be wrong and not so beautiful. On skate first lift the "leading" leg and put it in the front suspension zone, then place the second on the so-called "tail", "tail" of the board. Footsteps on the width of the shoulders, heels outside the skate ... How correct and comfortable for you the resulting stand will become definitively understood only during the movement. So let's push off and try to drive a bit straight. While bending, bend your knees and spring. Slightly deploy the case in the direction of travel and keep it straight. Do not swing forward: fall! Starting skateboarding, be sure to take care of the proper equipment: a comfortable "cool" shirt and trousers made of stretch fabric (without limiting the freedom of movement, they at least partially soften possible impacts of the board), and most importantly - suitable shoes. Optimum to take the model, especially for skateboarding and designed. It is guaranteed to have a non-slip sole with excellent cushioning properties. Since a skateboard is quite a traumatic sport, especially for beginners, at least at first do not neglect protection, wear knee pads and elbow pads.

Here's a new twist

Mastered the movement in a straight line? Now try to move out with a small, not too steep gorochki and make a turn. For the first maneuver it is necessary to learn how to brake by gently lowering the heel from the board (this will require some plastic) or the entire foot. For the second, you should give the skateboard a maneuverability. Initially, this sports equipment for steep turns is not calculated. To make it more agile, loosen the kingpin a little (literally half the turn) (it's a bolt that holds the shock absorbers and both parts of the suspension). This is a very simple procedure, with which a novice can easily cope ... As, incidentally, with the implementation of the turn itself. To, for example, turn to the right, by moving the feet, smoothly transfer the weight of the body to the right side of the board (to the left - to the left). If this is not enough to maneuver, lightly press the "back" foot on the "Tail". Skateboarding perfectly strengthens the muscles of the lower body. But since they receive a significant load, do not forget to pull them before and after training. To warm up, perform several sit-ups and inclinations forwards and backwards and left-right.

Choose the first skateboard

To try to get on skate, it's better to borrow from one of your friends: perhaps you will immediately realize that this is absolutely not your sport. Your own first board should be chosen for reasons of reasonable price-quality ratio. In a newcomer, in any case, she will quickly "be killed." A very good expensive model will be a pity. Cheap and substandard will quickly fall apart. In some ways, all skateboards are the same. They are standard in length, according to the damping properties of the suspension, the material of the board itself is "decks" (laminated Canadian maple). But the width of the board and the size of the wheel can be different. This is worth paying attention to. Beginners usually choose boards: they are more manageable, it's much easier for them to learn to do tricks on them. As for the dimensions of the wheels, they can be from 50 to 55 mm in diameter. For street skating, 50-52 millimeters are optimal. The large ones are designed for ramps, high speed, which the beginner raider does not need.

A clever trick

When you confidently skate, you may want to try some trick. Let's say at once: they are quite difficult and traumatic, especially at first. Even for the simplest "ollie", on the basis of which more complex ones are built, you will have to jump high enough, tearing yourself off the ground with the skateboard. But that does not mean that you will never learn this. One of the main qualities of a skateboarder is patience. You can learn your first trick for a month or two ... Although it can work out in a week of training, if you devote a lot of time to them, doing it every day for two or three hours. Everything is easy with an ally. You squat and you press the foot on the Tayle with it, until the tip touches the ground, while simultaneously sliding the movement up the board to the second leg. "Click", jump (during which the board is leveled) and landing on all four wheels. Having mastered the ally, you can try to go to the second difficulty trick: pop show (pop shove-it), in which the board jumps 180 degrees.
