But in fact, the options for creating bows can be much more intricate, more complex and more effective. By the way, bows are not always a way to fix hair, they play the role of a magnificent decorative element for decorating various items, including gifts for loved ones.

We offer you the option of how to make a bow of satin ribbon, with which you can decorate the hair hoop, dress belt or gift wrap. To do this, we need to use a satin ribbon, the width of which should be up to one and a half centimeters. From this tape we make four segments, gently cutting it. Each segment should be one third less than the previous one. Three of these pieces we glue together or sew up in a ring and add them in such a position that the seam is in the middle. After that, we need to lay out the segments in the form of a pyramid, and cross them by means of the fourth piece of tape.

To make such a bow we will need:
- tape width 2.5 cm (3 pieces)
- tape width of 1.5 cm and 0.5 cm (one piece)
- needle
- Threads in color
- scissors
- lighter
- adhesive and hair elastic.
In the beginning, we need to make the first layer of the bow. For this we take 2 pieces of wide pieces of satin ribbon 12 centimeters long each. Of the shades well suited, and will successfully combine with each other, for example, 2 white in black small peas ribbon and 3 red. Now we have to fold the red ribbon in half along the narrow side and cut off its corner. Then do not forget to burn with a lighter cut, which will prevent shedding and make the edge neat. Similar procedure of "cut and cauterization" is done from two sides with all 4 segments. We collect 1 layer of a bow. In the middle of the first tape we need to make a fold, alternate colors, in this order we have to collect all the tapes. Now we wrap them with thread and leave long tips. These tips will come in handy when we start collecting the bow itself. Our first layer is ready. Now we proceed to create the second one. We take 40 centimeters of white tape, fold it in half and make an accurate marking of the middle, from the wrong side of the tape with a pencil. We wrap the tape in this order, so that we get the figure "eight". In order for our bow to have a symmetrical shape, our two hinges should be the same size.
Using a white thread, wrap the tape and at the same time adjust the value of the bow of the bow, fix it. The second layer is ready!
To create the third layer of the bow, we need to cut off 20 centimeters of tape, 1.5 centimeters wide and arrange the corners in the same way as we did before.
We fix with the help of thread, leaving long tips. All 3 layers are ready!
We pass to the collection of the bow from the satin ribbons. We need to glue together 1 and 2 layers, fixing the long ends of the thread that we left. Next, we glue the small bow and fix it again with a thread. From the back side of the bow make a knot and cut the thread short. In order for the bow to have a beautiful appearance, we hide all the threads. Cut off the narrowest tape 5 centimeters, burn the ends and attach to the bow.
Now we include our imagination and proceed to the design of the middle of our bow. Beads or a small flower will be successful. The final touch is the rubber band sewn on the back of the bow.
Simple Satin Bow
We tie a satin bow, like simple shoelaces. At this point, tying the knot, you need to keep not the edges, but to thrust your fingers into the hinges, which will protect you from wrinkles. Such a bow is not recommended to be tightened until you spread it. Now, with a needle and thread, make a few stitches through the knot and cut the loose ends obliquely. Cut off the satin ribbon, twist it into a thin long tube. In half fold the tips and pass into the loop. We pass the bow and tighten it, fixing it with glue. The bow is suitable for a gift or a hair clip.
