How to remove the fungus from the bathroom?

The bathroom usually starts and ends your day. This is the most visited place in your house. But due to humidity and heat, the bathtub is a favorite refuge for many bacteria and fungi, which are extremely dangerous for your health. On how to remove the fungus from the bathroom and will be discussed below.

It may seem strange, but it's a fact: the bathroom even with all its visible cleanliness and accuracy is the dirtiest in terms of the presence of microbes and viruses in the place in the house. It is in the bathroom that the housewives do the cleaning most often, that's where the most "thermonuclear" cleaners are used. But, nevertheless, fungi and bacteria there are still many times greater than in all other residential premises. Why? All because of the humidity and warmth. This is the most favorable conditions for the development of microorganisms, whatever we do. The only way out is to clean regularly according to all the rules, using high-quality cleaning products. After all, if you do not take action on time, health problems will not be avoided.

The bathroom should be clean, especially if you have a large family. Bacteria hide in the whole room (not only in the toilet) - on the floor, in the sink and bath, on the curtains, even on toilet paper and the shower handle. Experts say that it is the fungus in the bathroom that causes the unpleasant odor, which will not disappear even after using an expensive freshener. Thus, instead of masking, it is better to simply remove the fungus from your bathroom without a trace. And do this periodically.

We deduce a fungus from the shower

Morning shower in combination with a cup of strong coffee gives a guarantee of 100% energy charge for the whole day. But did you know that the shower is the ideal incubator for bacteria that will pour on you as soon as you turn on the tap with water? Moreover, they will dissipate in the air throughout the bathroom, and you will breathe them. This is the ubiquitous fungus, which, for example, in the core of the soul is about 100 times more than in the water itself. The good news is that people with a strong immune system are less at risk for health. But people with weak immunity and pregnant women, as well as elderly people should be extremely cautious. Symptoms of health problems due to fungal infection vary, but usually everything starts with coughing, rapid breathing, fatigue and weakness.
To remove the fungus in the bathroom, replace the plastic shower with a metal one. You can immerse it in a pan of vinegar and let it stand for several hours, you can even all night. Rub the holes with a toothbrush and remove with a pin of a blockage. From time to time, start a strong stream of hot water to wash off the dirt and, finally, dry the shower. If your shower is not removed, you can clean it directly on the wall. Fill the hot water with the vinegar in a large bag, into it, dip the shower together with the hose and tie it. Leave for a couple of hours, then rinse with water and dry.

Fungus in the shell

In the bathroom, the sink is in second place, after the shower, in the content of fungi and bacteria. Not so much the shell itself, as the pipe beneath it - it absorbs all kinds of pollution. It would be best to dismantle a part of the pipe under the sink itself and clean it thoroughly. With a soft cloth, remove any deposits and plaque accumulated in the pipe. You will be surprised at how much everything has accumulated there. Then apply the preparation for cleaning and leave about 15-20 minutes to allow the abrasive substances to act. Repeat this procedure with a sponge, rinse the tube with hot water and allow it to dry. Then you can return it to its place. Protection for the fungus for several months you are provided.
Very carefully clean up those places where water collects: soap dishes, cups for toothbrushes, shelves and lattices on the sink. Do not forget about the cork. It's generally better to change it every week. Or at least clean periodically with vinegar.

Fungus in the bath

Baths of the new generation are very comfortable and aesthetic, but require special attention when cleaning. Do not believe that the acrylic bath is not contaminated - still as exposed! In addition, you can clean such baths only without using abrasive, acidic or alkaline substances (so as not to damage the coating). You can prepare the cleaning mixture yourself: from ordinary baking soda, soap and a few drops of fragrant oil. Apply the preparation over the entire surface of the bathroom (including on the outside walls), and after 10 - 15 minutes rub off with a coarse sponge. To remove yellow calcareous spots - prepare a solution of salt and turpentine (it is necessary to put it in protective gloves). Rinse well under the tub. Several times a week, pour boiling water into it with the addition of vinegar. This will help to remove the fungus from the bathroom and prevent it from settling again.

Fungus on the tile

On the tile (especially on its seams) there is a huge amount of bacteria and fungi that contribute to retaining moisture, mold and other harmful microorganisms. It is necessary to wash once a week with a rubber scraper or sponge and disinfect the surface of the tile with the application of special cleaning agents. Remove the mold can also be a solution of bleach and water in equal parts. Apply the solution to the tile with a nebulizer and leave for about half an hour to give the drug time to act. Then you can wipe the surface with a sponge or clean with a rough brush.

Fungus on the curtain in the bathroom

The curtain is also a good "home" for bacteria, because it retains moisture and is rarely cleaned. Place it in the washing machine with towels (this is important), add powder containing chlorine and put the program for a lower temperature. Friction between the towels and the curtain creates more heat, kills the fungus. So the towels will act as a brush to remove dry spots, dust and bacteria that do not wash off during normal washing. The curtain will look like new. Hang it in place and turn on the fan to better evaporate the moisture.

Fungus in the toilet

Cleaning the toilet is one of the obligations that you want to finish as quickly as possible. Therefore, you must use strong disinfectants that kill the fungus and bacteria quickly and efficiently. Be sure to use gloves. Do not forget to put the product inside and around the edges of the toilet. Leave it to act for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with a strong stream of hot water. Never mix a bathroom bleach with an ammonia-based cleaner, as this can cause the release of toxic gases. In addition, whitening should not be used at all to clean the sink and bath. For this purpose there are special cleaners.
The modern market represents a wide range of bathroom cleaners that promise to remove the fungus from the bathroom in a matter of minutes. But sometimes "grandmother's recipes" are much more effective and convenient. If you prepare a mixture of 3 tablespoons of baking soda, half a cup of ammonia and 2 glasses of hot water - you will get a universal cleanser for the entire bathroom. But do not forget to wear protective gloves before use, remove all towels, toilet paper and accessories from the room and afterwards ventilate the room well. And most importantly: do this regularly at least twice a month. Only then you can be sure - a fungus in your bathroom will never settle.
