Leopard print, decorating the outer clothing, has long been a sign of good taste, not bad taste. In this season, fashion houses confirmed this rule by introducing coats with animalistic prints into the catwalk collections. Special love for fashion designers is "spotted" ornaments that resemble the colors of a snow leopard, a jaguar or a leopard. Exotic coats do not have to be worn with classic black dresses - the more original the outfit, the better. Josie Natori, for example, boldly combines "robes" from faux fur with ankle boots, Roberto Cavalli wears long double-breasted "leopard" raincoats over colorful silk pajamas, and Dondup offers extravagant ensembles of voluminous "tiger" sheepskin coats, chiffon dresses and coarse boots on tractor outsole.
However, traditional combinations of things in the "leopard" image are still relevant. Deaf black skirts and closed shoes from Ellery and John Galliano, strict cases from Blumarine, narrow trousers-pipes from Giambattista Valli will certainly taste to the refined esthetes.
