"Madagascar 3" - not far off

Despite the fact that the heads of the studio DreamWorks Animation would like to send the lion Alex and his friends home to New York in the third cartoon, the plot of "Madagascar 3" is likely to develop again in exotic spaces. That's what the public told the filmmakers Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath at the Los Angeles premiere of the cartoon "Madagascar 2".

Discussing the plot of the future cartoon, McGrath hinted a couple of times that Alex and the company could make several additional stops on their way to their native New York. "We want our characters to return to New York, from there everything started," he says. "But in the world there are so many amazing places where they could look." Supporting the thought of a colleague, Darnell added that these interesting places can be Tahiti or Bora Bora.

Back in August, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, said that the studio has acquired new plans for the trikvela "Madagascar." According to oKino.ua, then he admitted that the forthcoming film will not be the final chapter in this story, and the people will see at least one more sequel, because in the end the heroes still have to return to their hometown.
