- potatoes - 600 Grams
- cream cheese, softened - 240 Grams
- unsalted butter, softened - 120 grams
- warmed milk - 1/4 Glass
- warm thick cream - 1/2 cup
Place potatoes and 1 tablespoon of salt in a medium saucepan, pour cold water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 35 minutes. Drain and let stand. Peel potatoes from the peel and cut into large pieces. Mix potatoes, cheese, butter, milk and 1/4 cup of cream in a bowl with a mixer until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Put the mashed potatoes in a saucepan, add the remaining cream and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mashed potatoes get warm. Serve immediately.
