Double the delicious side dish. Agree, mashed potatoes as a side dish is always a great option. Tasty, nourishing, easy to prepare, but try to diversify it, adding grated scented Parmesan cheese and spicy nutmeg - you get a doubly tasty garnish! A well-felt cheese note and a shade of nutmeg make mashed potatoes an absolutely new dish with an emphasis on French cuisine (by the way, in my culinary notebook this dish is called "Mashed potatoes in French")! Serve hot, pouring on top of the grated Parmesan.
Ingredients:- Potatoes 9 pcs.
- Butter 75 g
- Nutmeg ground 0.3 tsp.
- Cheese Parmesan 40 g
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Pepper black ground 2 pinch
- Step 1 To make mashed potatoes with parmesan and nutmeg, we need potatoes, parmesan cheese, butter, ground nutmeg, salt, black ground pepper.
- Step 2 Potatoes are cleaned, washed, cut into large pieces and boiled until ready in salted water. Choose potatoes fast-digestible and starchy! Drain the water in a bowl, potatoes mash in puree, pouring the necessary amount of the merged potato broth.
- Step 3 In the mashed potatoes, add butter, black ground pepper, grated parmesan cheese on a fine grater (leaving a little for sprinkling the prepared dish) and ground nutmeg.
- Step 4 Mix the mashed potatoes with cheese and spices and serve to the table hot as a side dish, sprinkling each addition with a scraped parmesan.
