How does it work?

To understand how paraffin wraps can help to deal with stretch marks, it is necessary to study the basic principle of their action. It works like this: hot paraffin, applied to the skin, begins to actively release its heat, while in the cells all metabolic processes are accelerated, the pores are opened, the production of collagen begins to be stimulated. Used in this additional substances, such as useful oils or creams begin to be absorbed into the deepest layers of the skin and their effect is greatly enhanced. As a result, cellulite starts to go away, small scars dissolve.

Stretch marks, especially white ones, are skin rips, which were gradually filled with a new connective tissue. As a result, something like light scars. With the help of paraffin wraps, the deepest layers of the skin can be heated, the metabolic processes and the production of collagen can be started with renewed vigor. As a result, the cells will begin to be actively updated, and the scars will gradually begin to be absorbed. The tissues will start to be saturated with mineral elements, the toxins will leave the skin.

In addition, the paraffin, when hardened, begins to shrink in the same way, thereby exerting a lifting effect on the skin. Of course, in order for the stretch marks to become less noticeable, and then disappear altogether, the procedures need to be done constantly. Then the effect is bound to be. But after the first procedure you will notice that your skin has become much softer and more tender.

What is needed for wrapping

For this procedure, you will need a cosmetic peeled paraffin, which can be bought at a pharmacy. Conventional paraffin candles for these purposes will not work, since they are mostly made of crude paraffin containing a lot of different impurities. You will also need olive or almond oil, which you will lubricate the skin before applying paraffin. These oils are excellent for combating stretch marks, as they have vitamin E and A vitamins (especially olive oil), which contribute to cell renewal and skin elasticity.

You will need any essential oil designed to fight stretch marks and cellulite. One of the most effective is essential oil of rosemary. It promotes resorption of scars and scars, removes cellulite, so it is great for fighting even with old stretches.

You can use a mixture of these oils, or alternate them every day with each other, or choose one to use only them. To begin with, we advise you to try the essential air of rosemary, as it is very effective. In addition to paraffin wigs, you will need any body scrub, food film and warm scarf.

How to make paraffin wraps

  1. A piece of cosmetic paraffin with a size of about 1-2 matchboxes (depending on the size of the area on which the procedure will be performed) is put in a cup and completely melted in a water bath. Attention! Do not allow water to enter the paraffin, otherwise there may be a burn.
  2. Take a shower and thoroughly rub with a stiff brush or washcloth place your stretch marks. You can use a scrub from sea salt or ground coffee. Be careful not to damage the skin.
  3. Take the base oil (olive, almond or peach) and drop a few drops of the selected essential oil into it. One tablespoon of the base oil will require 6-8 drops of the essential oil. Apply the resulting mixture to the area of stretch marks and thoroughly rub it.
  4. Now take the melted paraffin wax and with a large soft brush start applying it to oiled skin. Do not be afraid, pure paraffin does not cause burns. But first, it is better to get used to the skin, so apply the paraffin for the first time when it slightly refreshes. It will be hot, but quite tolerable. The first layer of paraffin is applied with quick strokes 5-7 cm in length. Remember that it quickly freezes, so do everything very actively. When the first layer is applied, proceed to applying the second, and so on until all the paraffin is finished. There must be at least three layers.
  5. When all the paraffin is applied, immediately wrap this area with food film and wrap it with a scarf. The film and scarf should be prepared in advance, since you should not lose a minute, otherwise the paraffin will cool down very quickly and the effect of the procedure will be small.
  6. Now it's better for you to lie down for 1-2 hours, additionally covered with a rug, so that the paraffin remains as long as possible hot and gives heat to your skin.
  7. When the time has passed, remove the food film. Paraffin is very easy to get away from the skin. At the end of the procedure, you can grease this area with olive oil or any anti-cellulite cream.

In total, you need to do 20 such procedures, repeating them every day. Then you need a break for a week. After this, repeat the course. Small stretch marks can disappear quite quickly, large stretches will gradually become less noticeable. The main thing is not to give up this occupation.

With the help of paraffin wraps you can get rid of even backward stretch marks, or make them so invisible that they stop worrying you. Cellulite also goes away, the skin tightens, and due to the fact that the paraffin removes toxins and excess fluid from tissues, the volumes also decrease.
