Spaghetti with tomato sauce and onions. We offer to prepare a lean and with that very tasty dish in the Italian manner - pasta with shrimps and tomato sauce. Shrimp creatures are bloodless and therefore use them for food during fasting is not prohibited. If you keep a fast and do it for the first time, then it's better to enter the post gradually. Remember that a strict fast for pregnant women and for people who have health problems is dangerous. It is better to consult a doctor and take the priest's blessing. During Lent, meat, dairy products, eggs should be excluded from the diet. Fish is allowed on certain, festive days. In the diet should only be lean food, plant origin. Ingredients:- Spaghetti 300 g
- Shrimp frozen peeled 250 g
- Onion 2 pcs.
- Garlic 3 denticles
- Tomato juice 500 ml
- Olive oil 50 ml
- Bay leaf 2 pcs.
- Rosemary dry 0.5 tsp.
- Oregano dry 0.5 tsp.
- Pepper black ground 3 pinch
- Salt 2 tsp.
- Step 1 For this recipe, take: spaghetti, fresh or frozen prawns, 2 onions, 2 cups of homemade tomato juice (can be replaced with fresh tomatoes or tomato paste, diluted water), bay leaves, rosemary, oregano.
- Step 2 Cut the onions into half rings, and chop the garlic large.
- Step 3 Lightly heat the frying pan, pour in the olive oil and fry the garlic until golden.
- Step 4 Add the onions, spices and fry for another 3-5 minutes.
- Step 5 Shrimp defrost and remove excess liquid. Then fry the prawns with onions and garlic for 5 more minutes.
- Step 6 Pour in tomato juice, add bay leaf, pepper and salt. Stew under the lid for 25-30 minutes.
- Step 7 Boil the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. The water is cold.
- Step 8 In the prepared gravy, squeeze out a clove of garlic, remove from heat, cover and let sauce steep for 2-3 minutes. Serve with freshly cooked pasta.
