- Citric acid - 4 Gram
- Sugar - 250 Grams
Step-by-step recipe for pear compote: Step 1: Pear thoroughly to cut into halves, removing the stems and cores. Step 2: Expand on sterilized jars (3-liter jar - about 7-9 pears). Step3: Put a pot of water on the stove (3 cups), add the first half of the sugar, bring to a boil and pour the pears into the jars with the resulting sugar syrup. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, then drain the syrup back into the saucepan. Step 4: Add the second half of sugar and citric acid to the pan. Bring to a boil and pour the pears and roll again. Step 5: Leave the rolled cans upside down in a dry place, covered with a warm blanket. Keep compote inverted until completely cooled. Pear compote is best stored in a cool dry place. Good luck!
