Of course, in the industry where such a woman works, there are often different features. It can be considered that a woman is unsuitable for leadership. Or it can not be a good programmer - and for many decades a woman has a hard lot for her - stagnation in a low position.

For example, I know a case where a woman aspired to the top of a scientific career, but she was built all sorts of obstacles already there ... women! Like, in our republic there are already three doctors of science - and the fourth woman we will not tolerate! But on the whole this amounts to a general competition and struggle for a "place under the sun".

Therefore, it is difficult to estimate in advance what features of work the woman expects as she moves to the top of Olympus. But if it is collected, it keeps a clear record of what has been done, develops, does not close in its "shell" (which I can do, but further - no-no!) - then sooner or later career growth will happen. And what's more, managers are very wary of those who pretend to have a salary and position well below their merits - experience, skills, education.

You can - quickly, you can - not hurrying. The main thing is to act!

At one time I liked the phrase: "Every uplift of the ass from the couch is fraught with the receipt of money." The same applies to a career.
