Onion garnish Quick pickled onion (dry way) is usually prepared for shish kebab from any meat, it also perfectly complements all kinds and, especially, meat salads. It is also good in shaurma (shaverma), snack in pita bread and sandwiches. In addition to the taste qualities, pickled in apple or grape vinegar, the onion also has useful properties: it improves digestion and cleavage of fats, lowers cholesterol, which is especially important for fans of hearty picnics. I should note that the specific (unpleasant) smell that interferes with communication, after the pickled onion is gone! I will acquaint you with the basic recipe, in which you can add chopped fresh herbs (green onion, dill, parsley), grain mustard or ground peppers to taste. Crispy pickled onion is ready to eat in 15-20 minutes, but if necessary, you can store it for a day. Ingredients:- Onion 500 g
- Apple vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
- Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
- Salt 1 pinch
- Step 1 To make fast pickled onions, you will need onions (or Yalta violet), apple or grape vinegar, sugar and salt (regular cooked or sea).
- Step 2 Clean the onions and finely chop. (I've already written above a slice of bread from tears, but I remind you again ...)!
- Step 3 It is advisable to squeeze the onion slightly with your hands and then add sugar, salt and vinegar.
- Step 4 After a few minutes after mixing, the onion will give juice, and after 15 minutes it is almost ready for use. For transportation to a picnic it is convenient to use hermetic containers.
