Cake "Snowman" New Year's holidays suggest the preparation of different desserts. First of all we want to surprise our kids. Today we will prepare a sand cake using a custard.
Form the cake fabulous. It will be a snowman. In the filling you can use a different set of dried fruits, according to your taste. This cake can be made ordinary in form. It is delicious and easy to prepare, do not wait for the holidays to cook it. Ingredients:- Almond 50 g
- Dried apricots 150 g
- Candied fruit 30 g
- Coconut shavings 60 g
- Sugar powder 60 g
- Candy 5 pcs.
- Chocolate black 50 g
- Waffle cup 1 pc.
- Pumpkin 3 g
- Wheat flour 3 tbsp. l.
- Sugar 1 tbsp.
- Milk 1 l
- Butter 200 g
- Eggs chicken 2 pcs.
- Sugar 150g
- Vanillin 4 g
- Salt 2 g
- Butter 100 g
- Eggs chicken 1 pc.
- Baking powder 1 tsp.
- Flour, wheat 350 g
- Step 1 To make a cake "Snowman", we need to bake a sand cake: take flour, sugar, butter, egg, baking powder, salt; for the filling: custard, candied fruits, nuts, dried apricots; for decoration: coconut shavings, powdered sugar, candy peas (any), a piece of pumpkin and a waffle cup.
- Step 2 To bake the cake, prepare a dry mixture: flour, baking powder, vanillin and salt. Mix everything.
- Step 3 Egg beat with sugar.
- Step 4 Add a soft oil to the egg-sugar mixture in a lush mass.
- Step 5 In portions, add the dry mixture to the oil, mix with a spoon. Then quickly knead the dough with your hands. Screw into food film. To hide in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Step 6 In the meantime, prepare the filling. Dried apricots, dried, cut into small pieces. Wash almonds, fry in a pan, chop (slices) in a blender. Finely chop the cucumbers.
- Step 7 Roll out the dough with a thickness of 5-7 mm using a rolling pin. Do not align the edges. Put the baking sheet with parchment dough in a hot oven to 180 C. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Step 8 Finish the cake to break into pieces, but not finely.
- Step 9 Connect pieces of corn, dried apricots, nuts, candied fruits and custard. Stir.
- Step 10 The dough is ready! It is already ready for use, but we need to give it a certain form. If it's just a cake, put the mass on the food film and put it in the cake mold. After cooling, decorate with ground nuts, coconut shavings. If it is a fairy tale hero, as in our case, it is necessary to form parts of the character's figure.
- Step 11 In a larger cylinder, place the mass in the food film. Seal the mass. Put in the refrigerator for the night (or for 4 hours).
- Step 12 In a smaller cylinder, also place the mass in the food film. Seal the mass. Put in the refrigerator for the night (or for 4 hours).
- Step 13 Roll the balls for the head and handles, wrap it in a food film. Put in the refrigerator for the night (or for 4 hours).
- Step 14 Remove the cooled mass from the refrigerator. Remove the food film. Each detail roll in coconut shavings and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Step 15 Collect the figure of the hero. Put on a comfortable saucer. Ready figure once again sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Step 16 Decorate with candy, cut out pumpkin nose, make chocolate from chocolate (melt in a water bath, pour the liquid chocolate onto parchment, add the desired shape, put in the freezer until it freezes). Waffle cup used as a headdress. The snowman is ready.
- Step 17 Serve in disassembled condition (the children explain what warmed up and the snowman melted) to tea. Portionally chopped. It turns out very tasty cake with a variegated filling.
