Not every European can easily get used to its peculiarities, so we reconsidered the chicken recipe in Thai a little to our taste, made it not so sharp. But still the abundance of various spices and seasonings in the original combination allows you to classify this dish as exotic, so you can serve a Thai chicken to a festive table, surprising your guests with something unusual. Since in Thailand do not adhere to strict rules and adherence to the exact formula, then you can replace some of the ingredients to your liking. As a side dish to this dish, it is best to serve boiled rice.
Ingredients:- Chicken fillet 500g
- Pepper sweet 1 pc.
- Onion 2 pcs.
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Honey 1 tbsp. l.
- Soy sauce 4 tbsp. l.
- Curry 2 tsp.
- Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Salt 1 pinch
- Step 1 To cook the chicken fillet, take the sweet pepper, 2 small onions, garlic, honey, soy sauce, flour and spices.
- Step 2 Chicken fillets are washed and cut into strips.
- Step 3 Cut the onion into thin half-rings, cut the sweet pepper into strips.
- Step 4 In a deep frying pan heat the vegetable oil and fry the chicken fillet to a white color 3-5 minutes, then, together with the allocated juice, put everything in a separate plate.
- Step 5 In the same frying pan fry the onion with sweet pepper until the onion becomes transparent.
- Step 6 Combine honey, soy sauce, curry, flour and finely chopped garlic.
- Step 7 Mix everything well, add a pinch of black ground pepper.
- Step 8 Put the chicken fillet in the vegetables with the broth, add the sauce.
- Step 9 Mix everything (if there is not enough broth, add 0.5 cups of water), cover and simmer for 4-7 minutes, gently stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Step 10 Then add salt and black ground pepper to taste, serve with a side dish of boiled rice.
