Remove the side veins of the beans, and cut the large pods in half. Potatoes are cut into cubes, and onions, garlic and savory are very small. Slice the garlic and onions. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, or in a saucepan. Fry the onion and garlic with stirring, until both ingredients have a clear shade. Add potatoes to them and fry for 5 minutes. Then add the savory and beans to the vegetables and continue cooking for 5 more minutes, stirring constantly. Add the tomatoes (previously tossed with a fork), pepper and salt to taste, stew for 20 minutes. If the mixture is dry, add a little water. Serve beans with feta cheese or hard cheese.
