Teaching methods for reading a child

A new method of teaching a child's reading allows a child to quickly learn to read, while spending the least amount of effort. To understand the essence of the methodology, let's start with its fundamentals.

About the technique

In the set - 20 cubes: 10 single and 10 double. On the dice the letters.

At first glance, everything is normal: cubes with letters are sold in any store. But if the single cubes from this set and the truth are nothing special, the patented design of double cubes (the result of years of searching) makes an impression. The pairs of cubes are fastened together and placed on special platforms. Cubes can be rotated, getting from one pair of as many as 32 combinations of letters! But these are not simple combinations. The letters on the cubes were selected in a special way as a result of long experiments, studying their frequency and compatibility.

The basis of the method of teaching children to read

At the heart of the methodology is the warehouse reading, proposed by Leo Tolstoy. The main innovation is in the design of cubes (therefore they are called dynamic ones). Replacing right before the eyes of the child one letter to another, we can get not only a new warehouse, but also a new word. So, for example, the word MAMA gives the word MASHA, and then - PASHA, MISHA or KASHA.

One-two and a word!

Everything is very simple - the very principle, and the very foundations of the method of teaching the child's reading. For the first time, you will have to give up learning letters. Although most children with letters just do a pretty quick job. Problems begin later, when the child does not get to bind the letters in syllables and words. In the teaching of reading a child everything starts not with letters, but with warehouses and words. The child does not need to learn all the existing warehouses to apply them, say, in the next class or in a month. Each lesson uses only what is useful right now.

Funny lessons allow the child to master the very principle of reading, and in just a few classes. Understanding how, for example, the word PASHA is read, the child easily inserts one or two letters (as soon as he gets acquainted with their sound) and reads the words SASHA, KASHA, etc.

The kid immediately starts applying what he has learned. The first word is on the first lesson. Lessons without practice do not happen here. Without this, the principle simply will not work! There is no cramming and knowledge "for later." The child takes cubes, composes a new word and gets the result.

New words from Chaplygin's cubes appear appearing in the hands of a magician: just one turn, and here it is - a new word! And everything that changes, the children learn much better.

The letters on the cubes are selected in a special way. Although there are only thirty cubes in total (and this is even less than letters in the alphabet!), You can make about twenty words from the first two cubes already. Let's repeat - these are familiar, having for the child the meaning of the word.

Of the three double cubes, more than 500 words will be obtained, and out of the whole set (10 single and 10 double), simply an unimaginable number of words and even sentences. For example, you can compose such words and sentences as "car", "I like to read", "with a good morning."

When you open the box, you see the sentence "I read and write easily composed of cubes".

In the kit, everything is ready for use - you do not need to glue or cut anything. In addition, the entire set is placed in a fairly compact box - you do not need to release under it a whole shelf or allocate a corner in the nursery.

Cubes are useful for reading children. This is an excellent "designer" for experimenting and composing words, even parents easily succumb to this magic: every time Chaplygin's cubes fall into the hands of an adult, moms and dads instantly begin to twist and combine them, enchanted, trying to find new combinations or collect , or another word.

The authors refused from various methods and methods of memorizing any theoretical knowledge, for example, letters or warehouses. There are no songs, no pictures, no games (except for games with words). In this technique, there is nothing to learn for tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or for a month ahead. It's just not necessary.

Through simple to complex

The kid is not easy (and not always necessary) to understand what a phoneme, warehouse or closed syllable is. After all, in his daily life, all this does not play any role! Who closed it - this syllable? And is that the warehouse where Uncle Kolya works? If there is a consonant, there should be a disagreement, a soft one should be ironed to make it purr, and hard - to knock on a table or a plate.

But cubes can be picked up and immediately something to compose. Of them, by themselves (at first, of course, with your help), different funny words are obtained - MOM, KASHA, MASHA. Are obtained already in the first lesson - and this is already a tangible result, which is so important for the child! In addition, these are the words that the kid uses in his daily life. So, they will fall into memory easily and for a long time - without special memorization.

The first lessons in the "Book-Cheat Sheet", which is attached to the kit, are described in some detail. Most follow-up actions with cubes are performed on the principle of analogy, which greatly simplifies the memorization of letters and sounds, and the very output in reading. , quite a lot of word schemes - contour images of cubes. This helps the child to learn how to relate the word, sounding with the word written - because "writing" can be not only a pen or pencil, but also cubes.

In general, the authors of the methodology give us a fairly large freedom of action, not forgetting to provide tips, tips and recommendations, how quickly to teach to read your beloved and the most talented baby.

By the way, Polina, with the story of which we started this article, already by the end of her trip in the compartment learned not only to read, but also to write on paper some simple words. And she understood the most important thing: reading is easy and interesting.

How to deal with dynamic cubes Chaplygin?

First lesson

Learning to read is a process that many parents take too seriously: they hide toys, sit the baby and say: "Now we will learn to read!" And often tears begin, misunderstandings and, as a result, mothers complain to friends: "My one does not want to read at all , I do not know what to do. "But everything can be very simple and even interesting. And the child will be able, and like to read by himself. Learning to read through Chaplygin's cubes is not a lesson at the desk, but a game.

Game with words

How to turn the word MAMA into the word PAPA, replacing just one letter in a cube? In this lesson you can make magical transformations. Changing the word in just one letter, the kid will get a hilarious result. To this lesson, all the words we are playing with are already familiar to the child. So, you have the opportunity to repeat them and at the same time see how he remembered them. We start with the word MAMA and, rotating the corresponding cube, change one letter.

MAMA - MASHA

MASHA - KASHA

KASHA-PASHA

PASHA - DAD

Changing the letter, first let the child remember and read the resulting word himself, and only if he forgot or got confused, help him.

Declination

Show the child the word MOM. Of course, he recognized him. Take the second cube: "Do you remember how this is read?" Of course, he remembers. "That's right, this is MA." Change A to W. "And this is MU. Read all together? "The child reads:" Mom. " "Do you love your Mom?" Of course, yes! "Say this to MAMA." On these words, "turn" W into E. When pronouncing the word MAME, make an accent on it, to make it clear that this is exactly it is written in cubes. When you show the words at the end of the lesson, you can repeat this dialogue, and you can think of something else.
