Cosmetology. Fir oil is the ideal cosmetic product, which allows to reduce the severity of wrinkles, tighten sagging skin of cheeks, neck, and do it in a short time. - When diathesis in children: a mixture of 1 part of fir oil and 3 parts of olive oil helps (with the lack of it you can replace it with baby cream) with the addition of vitamin C, or you can prepare a mixture of 3 parts of fir oil, 4 parts of baby cream and 3 parts of sulfuric acid ointments. With the prepared ointment, the affected areas of the skin are lubricated, the course of treatment is 7-10 days.
- For boils, carbuncles, panarits: mix 7 parts of fir oil and 3 parts of Vishnevsky ointment, apply the composition to a bandage and apply to the damaged area of the skin, cover with compress paper and fix.
- With burns and wounds: soak gauze cloth several times folded and apply it to the damaged area. In many cases this is enough. Burn 3 degrees ("A" and "B"): make an ointment consisting of 3 parts of fir oil and 7 parts of any fat base, lubricate 2-3 times a day. Cut cuts and scratches with clean fir oil to prevent suppuration, but only directly on the damaged area, to avoid burns.
Stomatology. With toothache and other inflammatory diseases of the mouth: a tampon, made of cotton or gauze moistened with fir oil, for 15-20 minutes to attach to the area of pain. If the pain does not go away, repeat the procedure until the pain disappears completely, at intervals of 1.5-2 hours. It is important not to allow a gum burn! With periodontal disease, 15-20 such attachments are needed, the second course is repeated six months later. If the periodontal disease is severe, then the third course is carried out, six months after the previous procedures.
Baths. Baths with the addition of fir oil give a feeling of calmness, serenity, lightness, fatigue disappears, stress is removed, skin elasticity and elasticity is significantly increased. To do this, add 3-5 drops of oil to the hot water (38C °), and the beneficial effect of the bath will be felt after 15-20 minutes. A longer intake of the fir bath (25-30 min.) Helps with insomnia, helps relax the muscles, quickly fall asleep. These baths take a day, the course - 10-12 baths.
Aromatherapy. Due to their unique bactericidal properties, fir oil is used to disinfect the air in the room where the patient is. To do this, add 4-6 drops of oil to the aroma lamp. When heated, oil scents the room, helping in the fight against ARI and other colds. This method is also an excellent prevention of respiratory diseases, especially during epidemics.
Adding oil to the aroma lamp at a rate of 1-2 drops for every 5 square meters of area, creates a wonderful soothing atmosphere, harmonizes the psychological state of a person.
Inhalations. Inhalations of fir oil are also very effective. By acting directly on the respiratory system, it helps expectoration, eliminates stagnant inflammatory phenomena. For inhalations, 3-4 drops of oil should be added to the container with boiling water, and, covering your head, inhale the healing steam. The duration of this procedure is 10 minutes, 3 times a day. After inhaling oil fir, you need to rub your chest and take cover with a warm blanket.
Aroma massage.
- Massage using fir oil is indicated for muscular, joint and bone pain of various origins (except for stages of acute inflammation). To do this, in the basis (at home, it's corn, olive or soybean oil) add 9-10 drops, rub in a sore spot. With radiculitis, myositis, sciatica: a small amount of oil rub in neat circular movements in an inflamed place. In combination with taking baths and warming up patients, the effectiveness of treatment increases. The course of 10-15 procedures. In the same way, fir oil is used for pain in the legs, ankles, knees, hip joints.
- Massage with fir oil is used for acute respiratory infections, influenza. To do this, it is applied first to the collar zone of the back and chest, actively rubbed into the skin with massage movements, after which you can proceed to massage the reflex zones of the feet. The frequency of this procedure is 4-6 times a day, at equal time intervals.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that fir oil is a highly concentrated product which, if used excessively, can cause burns, besides, some people are allergic to it. Therefore, you need to use it with caution. Fir oil is contraindicated in diseases of the cardiovascular system, in pregnancy, stomach ulcer. It is also important to remember that fir and alcohol are mutually exclusive things, therefore, during treatment and within two days after the end of the procedures, drinking alcohol, including beer, is contraindicated, otherwise the therapeutic effect will be absent.
