Vinaigrette with herring Vinaigrette refers to cold appetizers. Abroad it is called "Russian salad". You can make it exceptionally vegetable, but more often as an additive, we take salted and boiled fish, seafood, meat products (boiled and fried meat, ham), poultry meat and even mushrooms. Each time, adding a new product, we give the vinaigrette a special taste.
