It is very difficult to recall a list of all the necessary things that you and your student will need by the first of September after such a long and "lazy" summer vacation. For this we have prepared a list of the necessary things for school.
Things that should be in stock:
- School supplies. Typically, most schools provide a list of school supplies that your kid needs in the school year. Depending on which class to study your child, the list can include pencils and drawing albums, or pens and notebooks for different activities.
- Wall calendar. The calendar in the kitchen, on the computer or on the mobile phone will help you to always remember important events in the school, be it control, training in the sports section, rehearsals for the holidays or other school vicissitudes.
- Necessary clothes. Look in the wardrobe of your child and make a list of only those things that are necessary for updating. The child's view of the style changes very quickly, depending on what other children go to. It is best to buy clothes in a week or two after the start of the school year. One tip: It's a good idea to let the kid choose clothes for the first school day.
- Footwear. Start a new school year with the purchase of quality strong shoes for your child. If your child is engaged in physical education, make sure that he also had high-quality sneakers or sneakers.
- Backpack. Look for the knapsack, which by parameters will not be too big and heavy for your schoolboy. Remember that the backrest should be orthopedic, and the straps - trimmed with a special soft cloth.
- A lunch box. If your child takes food with him to school, let him choose a chest for her. This will only add positive emotions to the kid in preparation for school.
- Alarm clock. Buy your schoolchild easily customizable alarm clock, and teach him to use it.
- Nutrition schoolchildren. Stock up with fruits, whole-grain bread, yogurt, and low-fat meat, that is, those foods that could provide your baby with enough energy during the day. Also you can cook and freeze a couple of dinners, and for a week just warm them up. This will ease the first week of the school year for you.
- Keep the checks. Even with a list of things for shopping you can make mistakes: buy not such a notebook or pen. Make yourself an envelope in which you will put checks for goods. This at the same time will help you control costs, as well as facilitate the return or replacement of goods.
What else needs to be checked:
- Dress code. Before buying a school uniform, ask the school about the appropriate dress code. Some schools prohibit expensive accessories or elaborate clothes.
- Vaccines. Check which vaccines your crumb needs for the new school year, and then make a checkup. Children of different ages need different vaccines, especially since vaccination schedules are often updated. Make sure that you have received an updated form of vaccine, which the school should take you to.
- The physical condition of the child. After routine immunization, you also need to undergo a physical examination. In any case, the school requires the conclusion of doctors about the health status of the student, because today it is an important criterion for the preparation of training loads.
- Updating contact information. If it so happens that you have changed your place of residence, mobile or home phone, place of work - you should file this information with the school so that you can communicate with them under any circumstances.
- Medical records. Make sure that the school nurse is aware of your child's health condition and the presence of such diseases as diabetes, asthma or allergies. So she can always monitor his health and ill health and provide good medical care if something goes wrong.
- Open communications. If in any way the behavior will affect the progress of your student, you should have connections with teachers and the class teacher to discuss their decisions. If you find together the cause of rebellion - it will be easier for you to correct the situation.
