Almond and cherry dessert

1. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. 2. Chop the butter into pieces. Add the butter to the bowl with flour and chop it, using a fork or dough cutter. The mixture should eventually resemble large crumbs. 3. Add grated almonds and mix until smooth. 4. Put the frozen cherry in a bowl, add sugar, starch and almond extract. Mix gently. 5. Divide the cherry between 8 serving pots for baking (one must go about a cup of cherry). 6. Sprinkle the cherry with crumbs of dough. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes, until the tip is golden brown. If the top has not been baked yet, continue baking for another 10 minutes. 7. Beat thick cream and 2 tablespoons of sugar with a mixer until creamy consistency. Keep in the refrigerator until dessert is served on the table. The finished dessert should be served warmly or at room temperature in a small bowl with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
