Apple-nut pie with cream and mint Today we prepare a useful and tasty pie with hazelnuts, apples, mint, mascarpone cheese, white chocolate and whole-grain flour. The crusts for this dessert are crispy and nutty, similar to shortbread cookies. And the filling is creamy-apple-mint. The combination is very unexpected and therefore the taste is unpredictable, but fairly harmonious. It will be to taste even the most demanding sweet tooth.
Ingredients:- Sugar powder 50 g
- Butter 150 g
- Hazelnut 50 g
- Wholemeal flour 80 g
- Flour, wheat 80 g
- Water 20 ml
- Apple 3 pcs.
- Peppermint fresh 5 g
- Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
- Cream 15 ml
- Sugar powder 5 tbsp. l.
- Chocolate white 50 g
- Mascarpone cheese 125 g
- Step 1 For apples and cream, you need apples, lemon juice, mint, sugar, powdered sugar, white chocolate, cream and mascarpone cheese or Philadelphia.
- Step 2 For the cakes you need wheat flour and whole grains in equal proportions, powdered sugar, hazelnuts, butter and a little bit of ice water.
- Step 3 Dry the nuts in the frying pan and peel off the husk.
- Step 4 Grind the nuts in a mortar or with a rolling pin.
- Step 5 Add all the ingredients for the cake to the bowl, namely nuts, flour, melted butter, sugar powder and a little ice water.
- Step 6 Stir thoroughly and knead the dough.
- Step 7 Roll the ball and send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Step 8 To make the apple filling, peel the apple and cut into cubes, and chop the mint leaves into small pieces.
- Step 9 Put the apples in a saucepan, sprinkle with lemon juice, add sugar to taste and cook until soft (about 8 minutes).
- Step 10 Then crush the apples in a mash, add the mint and cool.
- Step 11 To prepare the cheese cream, whip the creamer, mascarpone, melted white chocolate and powdered sugar with a mixer. Consistency of the cream should be like a thick sour cream.
